Grásteinn guesthouse er staðsett á sauðfjárbúinu Holti, Þistilfirði og er gestum velkomið að taka þátt í bústörfum hjá okkur. Holt stendur hátt í landinu og er því einstakt útsýni af bæjarhlaðinu, yfir víðlendar heiðar og strandlengju Þistilfjarðar. Húsin eru 25 fm og vel útbúin, með eldhúsi, baðherbergi og sófahorni. Morgunverður er framreiddur í körfum og er innifalinn í verði.

Grýlusteinn is one of three cabins that we own. Nónsteinn, Grásteinn and Grýlusteinn. Our cabins are a perfect getaway place to enjoy the nature at it fullest while relaxing with a breathtaking view. Perfect for newly weds, couples or friends. Kirkjufell - Kirkjufellsfoss - Snæfellsjökull - Water cave - lava fields - black beaches - bird life - whale watching - Mountain view - northern lights - sunset , wonderful restaurants and so much more that you can experience here or near by.

The Shed, country atmosphere

The Shed is totally renovated and has a cozy warm atmosphere. Situated on a working farm far away from traffic and densely populated areas. The Shed sleeps four and has modern amenities. The Shed is perfect for families or two couples travelling together. It is a great base for travelling around the south of Iceland with a selection of self-drive tours you can do e.g. the Golden Circle, The South Coast, Þjórsárvalley, etc. There are also many tour companies operating in this area.

Sænautasel gives you a opportunity to experience living as people did in the olden days in Iceland. You should therefore be aware that there is no electricity. Everybody is sleeping in “Baðstofan”, which the space over the kitchen is called in Icelandic. Breakfast and/or Dinner is available for extra charge. You need to book this in advance at least 2 days prior. If you decide to book 2 nights you should be aware that Sænautasel functions as a guided museum from 12-17 PM.

Mosi Hut

Escape to a small, cozy cabin nestled among pseudo craters near Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Ideal for two adults and it is possible to add an extra bed for one child. , it features a double bed a well-organized open studio space, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Relax on the private terrace or explore the nearby hiking trails. Great restaurants are nearby, and the location is perfect for visiting southeast Iceland's highlights, most within 1,5 hour drive.

Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The sheltered hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik.

Beautiful Cottage at Kaldá Lyngholt 2

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Eyvindarholt Hill House

The Hill House is a great location for visiting South Iceland. From the house, there is a beautiful view, and the house is big and spacious. It has five good bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big living room to get together or relax after a day out. The surroundings are peaceful, and there are many options for short hiking from the house. This house is the perfect place for big families or friends.

The Little House

The house is 25 square meters. standing absolutely alone on a one hectares plot of land. Small football field, trampoline and balcony. No one will disturb you, unless maybe sounds from the birds all around or the horses on next plot. The house is cozy and warm. Keep in mind that the main bed is 120cm wide.

Black Beach Aurora Dome

Experience unparalleled luxury and comfort at a black sand beach with beautiful views all around. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom in our shared service house on the property, about 200m from the dome, as well as toilet cabins in a short walking distance from the dome.

Skógsnes II - Selfoss

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Here you can enjoy the nature and relax. Here there is little traffic, cute horses all around and birdlife. Perfect place to see the northern lights in the winter.

Relax with the whole family and with your loved ones at this peaceful place to stay in the middle of beutiful landscape. Good location for northernlights wew, hiking , nature exloration and a lot more .
