Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This was the home that my brother and I grew up in. This house was built with love by our Mom and Dad. We hope you can feel the warmth and love we did growing up there. We are located 1 mile from Mattamuskeet Lake, about 20 mins from the Ferry in Swan Quarter that takes you to the Island of Ocracoke. We are also 20 minutes from State Boat Acesses. If you want a Beach Day,we are only 1 hour 15 mins for the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Pungo Shores Retreat

Come and stay in our family’s beautiful river side vacation home! With views of the water from the front porch and the quiet peaceful surroundings this home is sure to be perfect for anyone wanting to go fishing on their boat, hunting, or enjoy a family vacation. There is a private neighborhood boat ramp available right out front and the home does have a backup generator, large front and back porches, large living area with plenty of seating and a large laundry room great for storing any extras!

Cozy & Private 1 bedroom 1 bath carriage house located on 15 acres between the Pamlico Sound and Goose Creek State Park. Enjoy the panoramic views from your private balcony. Access to the waterfront and boat dock. There is a small boat launch for your small boats, jet skis, kayaks and paddleboards next to the pier. Shared use of the screened-in gazebo. Cozy cabin nestled on the edge of Lake Mattummuskeet. This newly constructed cabin blends in seamlessly with the surrounding trees. Large covered back deck provides a tranquil escape and endless water views. Whether you are an advent bird watcher, or drawn to be on the water there is an activity for all. The large spacious interior comfortably sleeps a group of 2 or as many as 10. Outdoor dining with gas grill and roomy decks. Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the world for a while.

Pearl offers a spacious open floor concept featuring connected Kitchen, Dining and living spaces- and a lovely screeded porch. It is located within walking distance to Silver Lake, Coffee/Juice spots, Restaurants and shops ! We are pet friendly with a 90% fenced in yard space. Some pet amenities provided. Surf Bus

The surf bus is a beautiful boho style cottage, with a full bed, sitting area and kitchen. The bath house is separate. To those of you that have been here before, the new location is just as magical but definitely different than the previous spot. The outdoor shower allows you enjoy sunshine, moonlight and starlight. It is also very spacious. The yard is sunny and open with a picnic table and grill. Perfect for the more adventurous:) Must be mobile and agile to enjoy :)

Sailor and Piper’s Sandbox was built and designed with Love …especially for our granddaughters Sailor, Piper, and Ridley Banks. Our beach cottage reflects authentic beach vibes inside and outside. You immediately get a feeling of home when you enter and will appreciate our attention to detail with pine and juniper wood from floor to ceiling, boat lights, brass port hole mirrors, etc. It's a place to relax, fish, kayak, commune with nature...great sunrises and sunsets.

The Quarter Cottage

Swan Quarter is waiting for you at this 3-bedroom house. Inside, you'll find a soothing atmosphere with 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and 2 twin beds to ensure a tranquil night's sleep. Enjoy the pleasant living space with amenities like WiFi, a washing machine, dryer, AC, and heating. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for your convenience. There is a washer and dryer in the house also. Kitchen is fully equipped. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay.

Welcome to our serene 6-acre waterfront property in Mesic, NC! Rent our fully equipped travel trailer with its own deck, firepit and BBQ. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, and the natural beauty surrounding you. Kayaks are available for use. The trailer has all amenities for a comfortable stay, with sewer and city water. Multiple boat launches are nearby and a floating dock is available for use. Experience the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation at our unique retreat.

Camping on Slade’s Creek (near the Pungo River)

We are hosting a Camper/RV campsite on Slade’s Creek near the Pungo River. The site has a concrete parking pad and hook-ups for water and electricity. The drive to the lot is a semi-circle with ease of pulling up, parking, and leaving. We will be adding a picnic table and clothesline on site soon. There is direct access to a boat ramp nearby for launching a motorboat, paddle boat, kayak/canoe, or paddle board. We look forward to hosting you and your family!
