Lost Trail Station--Cabin on the Upper Rio Grande

About ten miles from the headwaters of the Rio Grande on Stony Pass-- Lost Trail Station was an 1877 stage stop . The guest cabin is a more modern vintage from 1930s, remodeled in 2018, updated in 2025. Guests have access to the 100-acre property, 1/2 mile stretch of private fishing on the Rio Grande and use of gazebo there. The San Juan National Forest is out the front gate. Forest Service Road 520 is a prime ATV ride--bring your machines and play. Weminuche Wilderness is across the river.

Enjoy all Vallecito Lake has to offer from this 2 bedroom 1 bath log cabin located at the North End of Vallecito. You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

The Moose Goose Cabin

Located on beautiful Lake San Cristobal. This charming remodeled cabin from the 1950's is the perfect combination of modern and rustic. Please be aware there is NO TV and NO smoking in this cabin. There are games/puzzles, the lake, and endless places to explore from the cabin. Cell service is possible with WiFi calling and internet is through Starlink. Town has restaurants and bars with internet. There is a king bed and a twin trundle couch. Fire-pit, outdoor furniture and views of the lake!

The Bunk House

This uniquely comfortable cabin is super cute and refreshingly FUN !!! With Vallecito Lake views and direct access, via a walk, off your own comfortable private deck. The large master bedroom is a perfect romantic retreat. If kids or extra family are in the mix, they will love the bunk house loft it will surely please with its 3 comfortable beds! (Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height & ladder steps.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

Vallecito Mountain Refuge
