Had an amazing experience at the property. Beautiful terrace next to the rooms providing a very good view of the forest. The place is very close to main Shimla however still offers peace and quiet as well. Well kept residence and assistance available at all times. Asheesh personally took care of our itinerary and recommended places as well. Would love to visit again during snow fall time as well. No difficulties in parking as well which is a great to have in Shimla. Overall pretty happy with the experience.

Annu sharma is a very good host and his family so adorable and so kind and friendly; I just felt like my own home and enjoyed the food and spending time with them . I am so mesmerized with the beautiful nature and quiet and so relaxing homestay I recommend everyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature and peace . This was our second time here after 3 yrs and Hem Sir, Reena Mam, and their adorable kids welcomed us with same love and warmth like before! The accommodation is perfect for families or small groups, with ample space and beautiful views. Sir & Mam are exceptional hosts, providing delicious home-cooked food , prompt service, and a comforting presence. They're always available to help, making you feel at home. Shimla holds a special place in our hearts, and this place is a big reason why. The beauty, peace, and serenity of this location make it a perfect getaway from city life. The views from the room and terrace are stunning. The place is located in a serene area, yet everything you need is accessible. The locals lead a slow and peaceful life, making you feel welcome. A very enjoyable stay in a clean, modern super enjoyable apartment with views and in a tranquil environment.

We stayed at “Veteran’s Cabin” which is one of the houses at Harish’s property. Beautiful house with a comfortable bed and a very nice balcony overseeing Shimla town and Tara Devi temple. It’s nestled very privately amidst the forest near a small village in Shogi. Anubhav bhaiya took good care of us. The food was homely and delicious (especially the vegetable Poha and Sandwich) Overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

I booked the place for my parents and they were extremely happy. They felt right at home. Hitprabha was a kind and generous host. My parents are planning to come back to Samarvilla for all their future Shimla trips. Thank you , for making their stay comfortable and memorable.

Vatu Kutir is 6/5 stars. Sir( host) comes with a 1 plus 1 super combination with Ma'am and their support staff. One gets more than just a place to stay . I got to see a fresh perspective to life and ofcourse fresh mangoes and pears also😋 Otherwise place , location and connectivity is also great.

Our stay at Akhil’s Place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, Akhil was an excellent host, always ensuring we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was the sightseeing tour of Shimla with Akhil and his car. He showed us some amazing spots, making the experience even more memorable. His hospitality and warm nature truly made us feel at home.
