We are so glad we chose to stay at this Airbnb for our bachelorette weekend! It was the perfect location & setup for our party of 7. The house is even more stunning in person than in the photos (& it looks pretty amazing in photos!). It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had lots of areas to hang out together. We loved that it had 3.5 bathrooms, making showering & getting ready a breeze! Everyone was able to have their own space & bed as well. The location is an easy drive into town or over the bridge for hikes & activities. It is remote, surrounded by woods, and very serene! The hosts were very responsive, accommodating, & friendly. Highly recommend for a large group!

We loved our stay in the McGrath house! We were in town for a wedding at the Gaines Estate and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The home was exceptionally clean and full of thoughtful amenities. The neighborhood is super walkable - easy to get to restaurants and shops, even the public library! It is also walkable to the Gaines Estate itself, although we drove due to shoe choices and weather, it was nice to know we could walk back if we ended up celebrating too much to drive. It was also very convenient to be right across the street from Pies and Pints! We also stayed in Bill and Sally's other house in town, the Wiseman house, which connects to this house via the backyard and was a great way for our large family to stay together with plenty of space and privacy for all.

The house and property was even more beautiful than the photos! This is truly the cleanest air bnb we have ever rented. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

The house is exactly as described. It’s in a great location with a great view. The amenities are wonderful. The hosts are great.

This house was adorable with great antique touches with nice furniture, linens, and special touches. We loved the deck and hot tub! It was very clean! Great games and activities in the game room and outside! Wonderful experience and wonderful host. Timothy was very responsive with any questions that we had. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved this secluded cabin and how homey it felt! We stayed with 15 people and were totally comfortable. My only discrepancy is the consistency of the Check In and Out information across different sources. The Airbnb listing showed different check in and out times then the check in information we received the day of arrival and in the manual for check out which is inside the house.

We have booked in the past ( another house nearby) and were just as happy. Homemade cookies and beyond friendly communication makes this our top pick when we are in Hinton! You won’t be disappointed.

Great place to stay!! My husband & I met our daughter, son-in-law & their black lab here, it’s a halfway point for us both. We brought along our son, my mother-in-law, & our niece. And our silver lab! Plenty of room for everyone! The fenced in backyard was great for the dogs! They had a lot of nice extras for the dogs too, big silver bowl for water, treats, doggie bags, etc. We loved the big open concept of the kitchen, family room & dining area. They have a nice big, round table that could seat up to nine people I think! Great for playing cards & games. Well-stocked kitchen (gorgeous). Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cookie sheets, & baking ware. Coffee pot was a dual Keurig, single cup or pot. Pods, coffee grounds & filters too. Our mattress in one of the queen rooms was great! (First bedroom on the left). I didn’t hear any complaints from the others either. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. 6 rolls of TP. Hand and dish soap. Walmart was only 10 min away!

Kitchen well supplied -- an Easter feast, no problem! Wished for an ironing board for the Easter outfit but no one, including me, noticed wrinkles. Loved playing pingpong and horseshoes in the giant backyard and close to *so* many great hikes. Wished for more area rugs to stretch on post hike but get that dog friendly and rugs don't always go together. Loved being across the road from houses with an airstrip behind them. Really fun hanging on the front porch and seeing a little plane take off. Recommend!

This house was very nice and worked great for our vacation. There were only 5 of us which is far fewer than the house can handle. The 2 king bedrooms was nice as we had 2 couples. The kitchen was great. I always bring some kitchen supplies as we cook all of the meals while there. But they would be un-needed here, as the kitchen was very well stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils for pretty much anything. The internet was sufficient for streaming to multiple devices simultaneously. It was in a great location to head out to some shopping and antiques for my wife. And we hit local trails and waterfalls. You can easily walk to the endless wall trail if you wanted. The road is quiet, and this house is set back pretty far off the road which is great. We received all the info to get into the house before we arrived, and had no issues with anything while we were there.

Perfect place for my family (2 adults and 4 kids 12 and under) to use as a home base for our visit to New River Gorge. Definitely had plenty of room to spare for additional guests if necessary.

We had a great stay at Stephanie's place. It was clearly set-up for people coming to ride on the Hatfield McCoy trails and it did not disappoint. The location was great for us to set off exploring each day. The garage had plenty of room for us to pull our URVs in each night and the parking area was plenty big enough for 2 trucks and trailers. Plenty of room inside and out. The kids enjoyed the pool table and it was a great area to hang out after a long day on the trails. The only issue we had was a minor miscommunication about toilet paper. We thought it was supplied and it was not....so make sure you bring your own. Aside from that everything was perfect and we definitely plan on a return visit!!

The farm is a wonderful little oasis near lots of great activities. The sprawling farmhouse allows ample room for indoor activities and gatherings. It’s hard to stay inside with such a wonderful yard waiting outside, so the screened in porch was great for getting the best of both worlds. Will absolutely return next time we have something to do in the area!

I recently had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was incredibly clean and well-kept, making for a comfortable and pleasant experience. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, waking up to the views from the cabin was an amazing experience. Rich was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us check in smoothly. They were also very responsive and helpful when we had a few questions during our stay. Overall, it was a great time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming spot!

We all had a great time. We loved the pool and it was great to have after hiking and on the afternoon it rained. The house was a great size for all nine of us! We loved it!

Second time we have stayed and have enjoyed each. Large farm house, is starting to show its age but that adds to the character. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly, Only 6 miles from Fayetteville. Great place for a large group on a rafting adventure.

Ryan was great. We had initially booked a different property of his but he was honest with us that due to construction it might not be available. We were able to find a different property and book it the same day. Flash forward to getting there Ryan was always available to chat including when we had some issues with the water. He communicated clearly with some options for us and all was well in the end.

2nd time staying here! Love the house, quite and private setting, close to the trails, fuel right down the hill.

This cabin was great for our stay! We spent The Weekend to go snowboarding & skiing at Winterplace. Was a little bit of a drive but we didn’t mind. The cabin wasn’t too hard to find permitting the weather (we got 8” of snow while we stayed). If you come in the winter I would strongly recommend driving something with 4x4! Overall we enjoyed our stay! Especially the hot tub!

This place was great. Literally it was 5 mins away from the New River Gorge NP visitor center & Bridge Walk. It was also just a few minutes to the local restaurants like Pies & Pints and Secret Sandwich Society. Walmart & Kroger were less than 10 mins down the road. Also close to Hawks Nest State Park. The house is on a quiet neighborhood right off of Hwy 19. Well appointed, clean, tastefully decorated. Perfect for our family of 4 (2 teens), and we all thoroughly enjoyed the DVD collection! Caught up on some old movies. We’d definitely look at staying here again.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.
