This lovely separate street level unit, called Sweetgrass, pure South Carolina, is close to the city center, parks, art and culture, restaurants and dining, and great views. The carriage house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with children 12 or older. NOTE: Guests must be 25yrs old+ to rent. Travelers insurance is encouraged.

Cara May Cottage

We love the laidback neighborhood, charming historic architecture, and the 5-block walk to the breezy waterfront along Bay Street. The cozy cottage is one bedroom, one bath, and a lovely living space on a postage stamp lot. The built-in breakfast nook is our favorite spot. Other features are the chic furnishings, 11’ ceilings, tall casement windows, and little front porch. Off-street private parking for one car and smart tv/wifi. The 400 SF cottage is named after the architect's daughter.

The Cottage at Burroughs

The Cottage at Burroughs has recently been completely renovated. A short walk or bike ride to downtown Beaufort restaurants and shopping, it is also just steps away from the Spanish Moss Trail and a short drive to Parris Island. The Cottage has space to park your boat trailer and is one mile from the Downtown Marina and boat landing. A scenic drive through our barrier islands will take you to the beautiful beaches and trails at Hunting Island State Park - complimentary guest pass provided.

Buddy's Cottage near everything in Beaufort, SC

Who is Buddy? He was our black Labrador of 12 years. This well kept tiny home is adjacent to our main home and is private. It has 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, a sleeper sofa , 2 TV's, a full kitchen and all the amenities of home. Downtown Beaufort is 2 miles away, Parris Island is less than 5 miles away. In a quiet neighborhood. Are coming for a fishing trip and bringing your boat? Come stay with us , we have room for your boat. You can flush your engine and rinse your boat down.

The Downtown Waterfront is 9 blocks (~10min walk) and Parris Island is a quick 12 minute drive. The cottage is an easy 1 mile walk to the Historic Beaufort Riverfront’s restaurants, shops, ice cream. Take a horse drawn carriage ride and learn the history of this charming town. Its location is approximately 15-20 minutes to Parris Island & the air station. Pet friendly.

This light and attractive home offers a downstairs master suite with a King Size bed and a recently remodeled full ensuite bathroom with tiled walk in shower. There are two additional Queen bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. Unfortunately no pets allowed.

The cottage was completely renovated in June 2022 and it is in heart of the National Historic District of Beaufort and only a 10 minute walk to downtown shops and restaurants and only a 2 minute walk to Bay Street and the Beaufort River. The cottage is also only a 10 minute drive to Paris Island and 20 minute drive to the beach and we provide a pass to the Hinton Island State Park / Beach.
