We used Stacey’s home as a base for our wedding weekend. It is in a rural location but the home is easy to find. It was neat, clean and had stunning views. The home is fully equipped which came in handy. Stacey is also super responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay. Nathan was incredibly welcoming and allowed us to use his place for our small wedding ceremony. It was the most amazing day and we really enjoyed our entire stay. Thanks again Nathan!! We will always remember this beautiful space that we held our special day at. ☺️

Amazing modern accomodation with a stunning view. Great location (though is a drive to the beach) but great for walks on the estuary. Quiet & private enough. Really nice high quality build. Will be back for sure.

Geraldine’s house was gorgeous. On arrival we were absolutely blown away by the location and her beautiful home. So many lovely welcoming touches like the stereo playing, lovely scented fragrances, freshly baked cake, coffee pods, chocolates and delicious breakfast goodies in the fridge which we weren’t expecting. We felt at home immediately. An abundance of firewood was also available to light the fire which made the house very cosy. On the morning of our departure, Geraldine messaged us to offer a complimentary late check out which we greatly very appreciated. We had a wonderful time in Rotorua and Geraldine’s home was the icing on the cake. We look forward to returning again one day.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from many harbourfront restaurants, cafés and bars and great to have the sunrooms overlooking the water Kim was brilliant, helpful and fast to communicate and we had a great stay The included Gym and Pool are 30 seconds walk from the apartment and that was a bonus Thanks, Kim

Lynne is truly the best host we’ve ever had. She welcomed us with a big smile, warmth, and kindness that instantly made us feel at home. The place is absolutely lovely, with breathtaking views, excellent bedding, and beautiful furniture. Everything was thoughtfully prepared,homemade muffins (they were amazing!), snacks, chocolates, and even asking for our milk and wine preferences! Her hospitality truly went above and beyond. Lynne made sure we had everything we needed and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We left feeling relaxed and really appreciated the care she put into every detail. The perfect spacious place to spend a couple of days while we explored the area. Loved all the windows which let in lots of light, plus the lake view from the living area was pretty special. We felt very at home during our stay, the airbnb is filled with curated artwork, books and good furniture pieces, that seem made for the space. There was a big comfy sofa, plus a basket full of dry firewood (much appreciated, as the weather cool and rainy during our visit). The full kitchen is well equipped, and included a coffee machine, although the local store by the Falls does a good coffee too. We'd love to come back during summer to explore the region further. Thanks for having us to stay.

Fantastic property in a great location. Great areas with 2 outdoor spaces and really great en-suite with master bedroom being away from the other 2 bedrooms. Really well setup kitchen and amenities. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay again. Host responded very quickly and check in made easy.

You know when you walk in to an air BnB and you instantly feel at ease and like you’re going to have the best weekend because of the place you get to sleep is perfect, this is how I felt stepping into Raewyn and Rod’s property. It was clean to absolute perfection, the bathroom was really cool, the beds were great - comfortable as and the granola, as per other reviews was fab! The home made peaches were however my favourite and my dad loved the plum jam! It’s peaceful with a great view and ambient outdoor areas to soak up some sun. In walking distance from a cute coffee spot and the pub was great for food. My dad and I had the best weekend and we couldn’t be more grateful for our stay and highly recommend.

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

We had an amazing stay at David and Sue’s. Everything was as described. Such a spacious yet homely feel with absolutely everything we could want. David was very approachable and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. Would love to return

The best airbnb I’ve stayed at (I’ve stayed at a lot). The most beautiful, comfortable, private place, close to everything you need.

We had a 6 day family Christmas Holiday here and it couldn't have been nicer. Daniel and Angela met us when we arrived and explained the various systems such as pool, TV, internet, etc. They were available nearby in case we needed them (which turned out we did not), but did not intrude in our privacy. The actual facilities were even nicer than the photos and descriptions provided in the AirBnB listing. One of the special things about this home displayed was the care and art that the hosts have put into it. Everything is amazing. It is ultra-private and it seems as if you are alone in the forest overlooking a beautiful valley. The view from the upstairs master suite is awesome. Our two grandkids spent hours each day in this nice, clean, warm pool. The pool - patio area was well done and relaxing for lounging between swims. . I would HIGHLY recommend this property and hosts.

As a group of 8 people we had a great time during summer here. The hosts were of great help when we had some “parking issues” with our trailer - they organized someone to pull us out of a ditch ;-) and that truly saved our vacation. That was amazing. Whatever was missing was quickly organized. Unfortunately an all-year fire ban on GBI meant we were not allowed to use the outdoor fire place, and since the nights get cold quickly we were looking forward to sitting in front of the outdoor fireplace in the evenings, which obviously did not happen. Also, the utility of the massive balcony is close to nil - it was either burning hot or freezing cold out there. In that regard, if you look at this place, consider that what you get is somewhat less than what you might expect from the pictures alone. Despite these drawbacks we would love to come back any time.

We absolutely loved this beautiful historic home and immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. The staff were extremely discreet but available if sought out. We were impressed with the access to chickens and consequent fresh eggs, and small vegetable garden. On arrival the home had every set of French doors thrown open. It was airy inviting and thoroughly enjoyed throughout our stay. The Fitzroy Port area is a little remote from the busier Southern part of the Island but with a rental vehicle this was not a problem,. and there are a number of walks available within the area to not require a vehicle should one use not to hire one. Food is expensive on Great Barrier and it is recommended to stock up and take supplies in a chilli bin with you. There is a store on the Fitzroy wharf which is well stocked however, should you run out of your supplies. The property also has a jetty of its own and can be booked and used to moor your boat should you arrive by sea.

Great location close to the city centre. A quiet and private home, perfect for our family of six.

This place is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I can't recommend it enough. We booked it for a night for a hens party and the look on guests faces when they arrived was priceless. Such a hidden gem in Katikati, and well worth the drive there if you are considering staying. The house was spectacular and so accommodating to a large group of people, with a lovely courtyard for outdoor activities. The little cottages were also a lovely surprise for guests and so well maintained. Laura's communication was also excellent. I would love to visit again one day. . . and stay for a week!

Absolutely loved it stay at Cindy’s place! Communication was great from the start, instructions for the driveway and access to the keys was simple. The house was clean and comfortable, well equipped kitchen big fridge and freezer, so many outdoor seating areas as well as a large indoor table and multiple places to just sit and look at the pristine view. Well suited for a group of 10. Beds were all made, linens, towels and pillows were al great. It was so handy having everything provided and ready for us on arrival. With a big storm the night we arrived we had a nice time having dinner at the table, then sitting in the lounge with plenty of seats for us all. The stunning weather the next day meant we could enjoy the amazing outdoor space. Very walkable to Hatfields beach, also to Orewa but we chose to drive there as likely to be picking up groceries! A place we would book again for sure! Thank you for having us!
