With unrivaled, stunning views of the Iron Crown and Wolkberg mountains, Verkijken Cottage sits on a high hilltop. It looks down on Indigenous Bush which is unique. Within 500m of the cottage you see and hear forest birds found in the Woodbush. Birdwatchers are in for a treat as the gardens are visited by Knysna Turaco, Double-collared Sunbird, Chorister robin - chat, Cinnamon dove, Rameron Pigeon, Red eyed dove and more. There are the rare species such as Samango monkey, duiker and bushbuck.

You can watch the sunrise from your bed and you have a beautiful garden view as well as a mountain view from your private deck. House of Art is not suitable for children under 12.
