Aluguéis por temporada em Guantanamo

L’endroit est magnifique au bord de la rivière Toa dans laquelle on peut se baigner. Tout le monde est très gentils et accueillants. Seul Petit bémol les matelas étaient vraiment peu confortables

Eine der bisher besten Unterkünfte auf Kuba und eine super freundliche Gastgeberin. Der Raum ist groß, nett eingerichtet und auch das Bad ist gut ausgestattet. Vom Haarewaschen würde ich allerdings abraten, da leider das Wasser nur sehr marginal aus der Dusche kommt😉. Das Frühstück war wieder einfach aber sehr lecker mit selbstgemachten Mangosaft und Butter und auch völlig ausreichend. Auch war die Unterkunft einfach zu finden. Wir können sie nur empfehlen!!!

The place of Jose Luis is a beautiful house right on the beach, in the amazing centre of Baracoa. The city and its mesmerising surrounding are well worth a visit, but it is especially the family of Josè Luis that we loved the most! Friendly, lovely and generous people who made us feel like at home and gave us plenty of useful recommendations. The food is also incredibile! Our stay will be a lovely memory for many years.

great private roof top apartment with a terrace overlooking the sea. Diovani let us check out at 3pm because we had a late bus departureand greeted uswith mango juice on the house. hot water was little challengingbut didnt take away from our enjoying the stay.

Alejandro and his wife are great hosts, always looking after their guests. Besides that, Alejandro is a fine cook and we welcomed the distinct flavor of the delicious fish he cooked. One word of caution for those who wish to take a collectivo taxi back to Santiago de Cuba: the taxi will drop you at the Guantanamo bus station where you will have to get on another taxi. Make sure this is part of your deal. The jinteros who arrange the taxi will not tell you this. They will take a hefty commission and then proceed to put you in a local collectivo with many other passengers, which may be in the back of the car without windows. Since the ride from Baracoa to Santiago is extremely beautiful this would be a waste. Not to mention that sitting sideways on the windy road may cause stomach upheaval. This is no reflection on our stay with Alejandro which I can only highly recommend!

Alejandro and Susana were great and attentive hosts. They organized beautiful breakfasts in their pretty patio and garden space and a takeaway breakfast for when we were on the road. They were very sweet and helpful and I would definitely stay with them again next time I am in Baracoa.
