The Cat´s Cradle

We are a family run business that offers a brightly decorated apartment which is located in central Grundarfjördur. The apartment has a view towards Kirkjufell mountain. We, the family, live in the main house, and we have a cat called Annabelle. Sometimes she likes to say hello to the guests and could maybe stop by for a visit, but Annabelle is a lady and very well-trained. We are re-decorating the apartment and pictures of it will come in May. We and Annabelle look forward to hosting you.

Our peaceful, orca-themed apartment offers a spectacular view over Grundarfjörður and famous Mt. Kirkjufell. In the summer you can watch colorful sunsets and in the wintertime witness the Northern lights in clear skies. The apartment is detached from the main building and includes a well-equipped kitchen (yes, there's coffee and tea), a private bathroom, as well as comfortable beds and a seating area for two people. Berg farm is located in one of the most beautiful places in Snæfellnes and one of the most hidden places there. However, just 5 minutes drive to Kirkjufell and Kirkjufell waterfall. And 7 minutes drive to Grundarfjörður town. The cosy cottage is located at Berg horse farm behind the famous mountain Kirkjufell. Very private place.
