Greater Plettenberg Bay: acomodações em fazendas

Nous sommes restés deux jours chez Sue, nous avons passé noël la bas. Honnêtement, je n’ai rien à dire de négatif. Tout été conforme à la descprition. Sue nous a accueilli très gentiment et s’est rendue disponible pour nous. Nous ne regrettons rien de ce séjour et nous vous le recommandons les yeux fermés ! ☺️

What a beautiful stay. Sally & Margaret were great! The treehouse is actually a hidden gem. The estate is out of the way of the crowds but close enough to everything. The treehouse has all the amenities you could need, it is spacious, furniture is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and the whole place was clean! I would 100% go back and wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for being such gracious and accommodating hosts!

This is not the first time we stay at Jolette's place and every time it has been an absolute pleasure. Always a great stay on the farm, tranquil and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Great value, with outstanding amenities. The Farm House (and every other unit) comes highly recommended. We look forward to our next stay.

Er was een misverstand omdat er uit de tekst blijkt dat er een volledige keuken beschikbaar is voor de gasten maar het is een keuken voor het personeel. Als compensatie kregen we alle ontbijten aangeboden gratis. We namen er ook ons avondeten en was heel lekker. Michiel de gast was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Was een een heel leuk en origineel verblijf !

Lovely bachelor type accommodation. Has everything you need. Beautiful setting and a quick drive into the village. The caretaker was pleasant and helpful.

Wayford Inn is like a piece of paradise with the peaceful surroundings and beautiful view on the garden. The house is even more beautiful and spacious than what is shown in the pictures. and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Sue is a perfect host before and during the stay.

What a pleasure to have stayed here. Peaceful stay and great hosts. @Hannes thank you for the fresh farm eggs. The horses even walk up to greet you. Liz was super informative and shared great local restaurants. Will be back.

We loved the place the minute we walked into the cottage. Everything you need (and beyond) is there and the view over the valley is amazing. Michelle's place also offers some amazing walks in the forest, and it is a great place for bird watchers. This is a place for nature lovers and it is super easy to immerse into it. Having said this it is still a very comfortable place and Michelle does everything to make that this feels like a home-away-from home. What a beautiful place and for sure we will book it again!

What you may feel is missing in luxury in the old farm house is more than made up for with the luxurious peace of the space and Adri's hospitality and generosity of spirit. She is a fantastic host and will make sure you are well looked after during your stay. The house is exactly as described in the listing and has everything you need for a comfortable stay plus little extra touches from Adri and her team. Make sure to visit Adri's Plaaskind Padstal for a roosterkoek breakfast or an afternoon tea with home-baked cakes to die for (the cheese cake, carrot cake and lemon meringue were our favourites!) Adri knows the area very well and has lots of recommendations depending on what you are interested in.

Amazing stay with Cheryl and Paul. They were so friendly and inviting - they came out to greet us personally on arrival and went above and beyond with extra little touches of hospitality. We will definately be back for another visit when we are in the area. Only thing to note is the dirt road, although in great condition and very smooth (like a highway in our 4x4), may not be enjoyed as much by some people in small or low cars.

I really love this place!!! Lorna and John are the best host. Will definitely come back.

Tanja and her husband are lovely people who made us feel right at home. They were always willing to answer questions and give helpful suggestions. The house was exactly as advertised with everything you need and more. The shower is a steaming hot dream! The kitchen is well equipped and we had a great time cooking in this kitchen. The jacuzzi was our daily relaxation spot with a view, while we had our morning coffees admiring the view from the deck. We spent one afternoon at the dam swimming, paddling and tubing to our hearts delight. We also did the short walk to the pretty picnic area by the river. Unfortunately we ran out of time and couldn't do the longer hikes on the farm. We would come and stay with Tanja again in a heartbeat!

Family & I really enjoyed our stay. We arrived a little late in the day but didn't matter as there is plenty of light in the tent. Was a treat to wake up to horses around the tents. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Our stay at Elephant View Homestead in Plettenberg Bay was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The freshly baked sourdough, honey from the farm and eggs from the chickens was the most thoughtful touch. The location is unbeatable—perched on a peaceful farm with breathtaking views of elephants roaming freely at the neighboring Knysna Elephant Park. Waking up to the sight of these majestic animals from our stoep was an unforgettable experience! Yet, despite the tranquil setting, we were just a short drive from Plettenberg Bay’s stunning beaches, amazing restaurants, and charming shops. The homestead itself is immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and stocked with everything we could possibly need (and more!). We cannot wait to return to this home from home...thank you Carrie and Laura for the most amazing stay!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Peaceful, rustic farm living with a great view and incredible sunsets. Spacious bedrooms and living area and nice big outside space for kids to play. Close to some good hikes, a lovely beach (Buffalo Bay), a river for canoeing and farmers markets. And not too far away if you need to head into town (Knysna or Wilderness).

Superbe petit appartement type chalet à l’écart de la ville (environ 20/30 Minutes de pistes faisable avec une petite voiture) avec vue incroyable sur la nature. Terrasse parfaite pour profiter du lieu. Piscine et espace détente et barbecue à l’ecart. Les hôtes sont très prévenants et accueillants. Je recommande

We absolutely loved our stay at Piglets Cottage. The location is so beautiful with the ponds & the mountains as a backdrop. Louise is the perfect host - she loaned us some binoculars for our stay. The cottage is close to some nice walks & to Wilderness. We checked out the cheesecake at the local country store - don't miss it. We will definitely be back to Piglets on our next visit & will plan a longer stay.

The perfect house for our relaxing family get-away! A beautiful and tastefully decorated home, well situated with stunning views. Fantastic and well equipped kitchen which was greatly appreciated by my chef son-in-law, with both an indoor or outdoor dining area to choose from. There is also a great braai area set off to the one side of the pool which includes a fire-pit, with loads of comfy seating, which we really appreciated having been travelling for a while and just wanting somewhere to chill out and all be together. The bedrooms are incredibly spacious, with super comfy beds and each has an enormous ensuite bathroom. Bliss! We will definitely be visiting again, and will be staying longer.

Cheryl was a lovely, responsive host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her beautiful cottage. The space was immaculate, the beds really comfortable and the peaceful surroundings and amenities at the property were fantastic. We would definitely return should we have the opportunity to do so. This is a highly recommended spot! And Cheryl a wonderful host.

We had a great stay in this charming place. This unit is a bit more private than the others as you enter through a secluded gardened area. Ilze was has down the best and went out of her way to accommodate our family, thank you. Also worth noting that during load shedding the wifi stays on, portable battery powered lights are available and the stove runs on gas.
