Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

We're just 10 miles south of downtown Munising - the gateway to Pictured Rocks; we're surrounded by hundreds of miles of roads and trails which boast amazing fall colors; and we're just 3 miles away, as the crow flies, from the Buckhorn Resort and snowmobile Trail 7. The cabin is located on a beautiful spring fed lake (North Manistique Lake) offering clear waters and sandy bottom; perfect for swimming, boating & fishing. The home comes with a large patio, grill and outdoor fire pit. The modernized cabin has huge floor to ceiling windows in the main room featuring the kitchen, living room and fire place. Two bedrooms, mud room, and bathroom are also included. The large 1.5acre yard offers plenty of space for parking & yard games.

Built in 1974, this rustic and architecturally unique cabin is an all wood modified A-Frame nestled in the woods of the Upper Peninsula. Floor to ceiling windows and a lofted second floor allow natural light and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. Enjoy our sandstone swimming hole in the summer, or the cast iron wood stove in the winter. Located 20 minutes from Marquette and 30 minutes from Munising, our home offers a quiet place to relax and feel close to nature.
