We rented the house for a birthday weekend with friends. The layout was great, and everything met our expectations. Very comfortable place to spend a long weekend with friends or family!

I have stayed here twice now for an annual trip to the area and we will continue to stay here going forward. The remoteness and setting in the country makes this place very special. Truly a gem.

This last-minute booking turned into a total jackpot. Options in the area were slim, and our expectations were even slimmer—until we found this gem! From the moment we pulled in, we were pleasantly surprised. It’s charming, peaceful, and so cozy we instantly felt at home. Our fur baby rediscovered her inner farm dog, and I rediscovered the joy of sipping coffee on a quiet porch while watching chickens and cows live their best lives. The kitchen had everything we needed, the living space was roomy, and the bedrooms were cozy, clean, and perfect for a good night’s sleep. The small details were exactly how an Airbnb should be—a true home away from home. Bonus: it’s stocked like they read your mind. Forgot something? They’ve got it. With a gated entrance, covered parking, and views for days, this place was the perfect peaceful reset. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This Cottage was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We came down for a weekend and absolutely loved the cozy peaceful feeling of this cottage. Everything was clean and new, and it had everything you could need from a stocked kitchen with pots and pans, to a laundry room in the cottage! the backyard was perfect for dogs and even had a window at the front for dogs to see through the fence! Everything was meticulously thought out and was extremely guest friendly! Terrell and her mom made sure we were set and even left fresh Chicken eggs for us upon arrival! If we ever go down to the Staples/San Marcos area we will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at The Cabana. The beautiful pool and backyard were very peaceful. The inside was very clean and comfortable. Natalie was always responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was very clean and well maintained so our stay was very pleasant. The area is beautiful and the deck is very nice to sit out on in the evening. Joe was very friendly and a great host and I felt I could call him whenever necessary. You will not be disappointed if you choose this house as your home on your visit to this area.

We loved our stay at Michelle's place! The house was clean and neat. It was very attractive, comfortable and very nicely appointed. Michelle has thought of every detail and it shows. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen and bath had everything we needed, and the living room had a really nice seating area. One thing to note is that the loft has a very, very low ceiling. If you study the photos you can use the size of the bed pillow and air conditioner unit to get an idea of scale. Guests who stay upstairs will need to bend over or crouch-down low while up there. That said, we managed just fine. Kids might especially like it since it is a unique and cozy space! A rather steep, narrow set of steps leads up to the loft that might be tricky to navigate for someone who has balance issues or knee problems. We would certainly come back and stay there again. Absolutely awesome place to glamp with the family. Beautiful grounds, and amazing "tents!" The kids didn't want to leave.

Place was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was as described. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a secluded and relaxing getaway.

Loved this spot!! Donny was very responsive and accommodating. I do wish we would have known about the personal chef prior to the day of our stay. We found out about it an hour before check in which was a bummer, but we had such a good time nonetheless!! My friends and I will definitely go back

From the moment we arrived at the WahWah property we knew we would want to come back. It’s such a nice step away from the busy day to day life. We really enjoyed getting to enjoy each other and the outdoors without a phone or TV to distract us. The provided golf cart was great and we enjoyed driving through the property. We were lucky and saw plenty of deer, a turkey and 2 armadillos! We got to experience Fly Fishing with Ryan from Go Outside and Explore and it’s safe to say we are hooked 😉 Will defiantly be back in the warmer months so we can take full advantage of the San Marcos River!

This was a very fun overnight trip! The golf cart was perfect and really made the trip. We drove down quite a ways and had a nice river beach to ourselves. The pool is beautiful as well and has a full bar to purchase drinks. The raccoon Bubba will knock over your trash at night so be aware of that. Fridge is mini size and the grill was nice but bring your own grill tools. They also have Yetis tumbelres you can use with their cute logo on it. Bed was fluffy and comfortable. I opted for an outdoor shower under the stars and it was perfect! The indoor shower and tub are resort quality as well. The porch is gated all the way around but would be short enough for a large dog to jump over. My corgi mixes couldn't escape though so it was perfect. If you have a tiny dog they may be able to squeeze through the gaps. Make sure to drive around and check out all the amenities like the volleyball court, conrnhole, swings, and bocce ball court.
