The Lodge

Welcome to our luxurious lodge nestled in the West of Ireland where you can relax and unwind in total luxury, enjoy peaceful country walks and yet in 20 minutes you can be in the heart of Galway city where there are numerous restaurants, lively bars and magical street entertainers. Travel time from Shannon and Knock international airports is approximately 1hour. Eco-renovated stone barn

Beautiful timber/stone barn c200 yrs old renovated in 2015 to a high standard, set on an organically/permaculture inspired smallholding in countryside close to historic town Athenry. Featuring a large double bedroom with 4 poster bed, a sleeping loft, suitable for children/young adults. Fully fitted Kitchen. Contemporary Shower room with Compost Toilet. We have a wood-fired sauna and cold shower spa area available for guests on one* night of your stay, subject availablity/arangement.

Romantic Hideaway - 1850's Schoolhouse

The Old Schoolhouse was built in 1850, and has been beautifully restored. It's got a long and rich history, dating back to the Irish Famine. My dad went to school here, we lived in it as a family growing up and I wanted to share some of the history of the buildng with visitors. It's been updated with fast (150mb) fiber internet, and it's very cozy and warm. We just added a modern, private workspace outside for remote working - fast internet, private, monitors, great for Zoom calls!
