Beautiful location and lovely home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Freshest bedding ever!

Carola was great in all the communication. The house was perfect for our family with 5 children of different ages. Toys and books and enough spaces for each to chill. Lovely outside space and inside all available that you may need. Would certainly come back

Folan’s Cottage ist wirklich ein Juwel. Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer den ganzen Tag ist einfach nur gigantisch. Unsere Kinder haben, trotz der kühlen Temperaturen, die Füße ins Wasser gehalten – mit leuchtenden Augen und viel Gekreische. Besonders süß fanden wir die kleinen Strandläufer-Vögel, die geschäftig am Ufer entlanghuschten. Das Haus verbindet traditionellen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Die großzügige Küche mit der Kochinsel wurde schnell zum Dreh- und Angelpunkt, wo wir gemeinsam gekocht und gelacht haben. Abends haben wir uns gemütlich am Kamin zusammengesetzt und Karten gespielt. Die Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes war genau das, was wir gesucht haben, um mal richtig abzuschalten. Ein echtes Highlight war die Begegnung mit den Connemara-Ponys, die entspannt vor dem Haus grasten – dieser Anblick bleibt uns sicher lange in Erinnerung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für diese unvergessliche Zeit!

We had a great new years stay in Lizzie’s. The place was very clean and cosy and we made great use of the lovely open fire place. The setting is absolutely stunning with beautiful sea views out the back and gorgeous views from the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for a big group and plenty of seating areas and chairs for all. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely countryside stay away from the madness!

This getaway is exactly what we wanted. The cottage was extremely cozy, and was quite charming. With tons of nature around us, no screens, and good company, the stay was incredibly relaxing. We had a great time thumbing through the materials and fun history of the cottage. William was extremely accommodating and was very responsive. We will absolutely be back!

Such a magical place! Sean met us right as we pulled up and helped us get acquainted with the cottage. It was so homey and comfortable, set in the most gorgeous location. We made good use of the little deck for morning coffee and evening happy hour while our three year old was in total heaven playing with the three dogs and jumping on the trampoline. Fiona and Sean have set up a perfect place for kiddos - books, toys, kids dining wear, travel crib & high chair. It was such a perfect landing spot for our first international trip with a toddler & infant. Kinvara is also incredibly lovely with good food, good pubs, and easy proximity to beaches and bigger towns if that's your thing. We loved our stay!

Had a lovely stay at Gerry's place. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and warm on our arrival. The location is beautiful, with a lovely view across the lake to the rear of the property, and it was very peaceful and quiet. Gerry greeted us personally, and provided several suggestions for our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to book it again as a great base for future trips to further explore Co. Clare and the wider region.

We loved staying in Kate’s beautiful cottage this is our second time and won’t be the last, we have family nearby and this little piece of heaven is so beautiful and tranquil, if you need some time to be at one with nature and forget about the busyness of life this is for you. Amazing hosts whom can’t do enough for you with great communication.

Heavenly retreat for anyone looking to get away and enjoy the peacefulness and beautiful natural surroundings. The home is set up with everything a family may need during a stay, long or short. The location is breathtaking and really is meant for disconnecting. There's plenty to do in the local area - walks from the home to the nearby beach were lovely, but we also drove around and explored some of the local sights easily.

Sean is an absolute gent. His place is a lovely little countryside gem which is within 20/30 mins of most things people want to see / visit in Galway, and he was so responsive & attentive to all our needs. The reviews don’t lie 🙏

Loved our time at this cottage. The home was very homey and comfortable for our family of 8. Lots of toys, books and games for the kids. Kitchen was well stocked and a great kitchen table where we could all hang out. Loved the fireplace in the living room- made for some cozy nights. Thanks for sharing your home. We had a lovely stay!

Had an amazing couple of days! It's a lovely spot if you're looking to escape from it all. The weather wasn’t great, typical Irish rain, but I actually love that kind of thing. The place was spotless, and we really enjoyed lighting the fire with some turf, it gave me that nostalgic feeling of home. Evenings were spent chilling by the fire, watching Netflix. We'll definitely be back, hopefully for a few sunny days next time!

Fiona went above and beyond and made the place feel like home. It is quite large and comfortable and she had a wonderful set up in the kitchen with snacks and coffee, truly perfect. 🌸

Anne was very friendly & responsive. She was willing to assist with anything we needed. The house & amenities were exactly as described.

Beautiful stay in a perfect location. It had everything we needed and more. Absolutely gorgeous and great for families. Close by to Clarinbridge and Oranmore and only a small drive to the city. We hope to return with a brighter baby girl in a few months time xx

Alles war wie erwartet. Leider konnten wir die Natur nur bedingt genießen, weil es dauerregnete. Trotzdem war es recht gemütlich und warm im Haus, welches wirklich dort liegt, wo sich Fuchs und Hase Gute Nacht sagen.

Our family of 9 had a very enjoyable stay and our host was great!!! He was very informative, answered any questions we had, and was quick to respond. It was easy to set up transportation and a day to the Cliffs of Moher, and places we found amazing and would never have found on our own. He also took care of dinner reservations at a great restaurant with a water view. The house was as described and stocked well. Great family memories made. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is in beautiful surrounds and the facilities such as the tennis court, billiards room and swimming pool were a bonus. Marshall gave great food recommendations as well, thanks for a lovely stay!

We’ve just spent 5 fantastic days staying with John & Maura. We are a family of 4, two young girls 6-3yo. The property was ideal for us, kitchen had everything we needed and a nice court yard to eat outside in the evening. There’s a games room that we spent time in each night and played basketball on the tennis court which we loved doing. We did loads in the time we were here, travelling by car is easy and accessible. (Gills pub locally, made us feel at home for a few Guinness and bet on the horses) Isle of Arran and bike hire is a must Salthill beach and swimming baths are great Corofin Gaa was a great recommendation by the owners if you want to watch some local sport Galway was lively, loads of live music and good food. (Magpie is worth the queue) And lastly mini the dog, my daughters wanted to bring her home….just rub her belly. Thanks for great trip, we’ll be back. Michael Heather Ada Nina

Lovely stay at Bernie’s home away from home topped by such fantastic weather! The house is very comfortable and was spotlessly clean. The location is great for exploring the island, and it’s best to rent bikes as it’s a decent walk to the shop and most cafes. All in all a great stay on lovely Inis Mór!

Rhona is really kind. She is very nice and very helpful. The house is great, clean, quiet. We appreciated everything. If we go back to Ireland, we will probably go back there.

Staying at Carraigin Castle was one of the best stays of my life! The location was so beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. It was hard to choose which spot to have my morning coffee as there were so many gorgeous spots to choose from! The castle is so cozy. We loved sitting around the fireplace in the evenings. Tina the caterer made the most delicious dinner for us during our stay and provided a lovely welcome basket. I would absolutely stay here again and I definitely will be recommending Carraigin Castle to my friends and family.

Väldigt mysig och välutrustad stuga med fantastiska omgivningar. Vi skulle gärna komma tillbaka och stanna längre.
