What a great place! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful and comfy place with a lovely backyard. Maria was very helpful with her recommendations for restaurants and Galway market. Really short walk to groceries, and about a 30 minute walk to downtown.

We had a great stay in the cottage for a wedding close by. Perfect spot for a family, love the old style of the cottage, but with all the modern comforts. Anna is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is our second stay at Patricias house. The house is really spacious, clean and well maintained with lots of rooms for family activities. The surroundings are really quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes drive to a few lively areas with good pubs and restaurants. Lots to do in the house and garden, the bikes are an added bonus. We have always found Patricia to be very friendly and helpful, a fantastic host. Thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Beautiful home in a peaceful and relaxing setting! We found it to be the perfect place to use as a base for exploring the surrounding area. The house was spacious and very clean and Anna was quick to respond to any questions.

Rhona is really kind. She is very nice and very helpful. The house is great, clean, quiet. We appreciated everything. If we go back to Ireland, we will probably go back there.

We had the best time at Sandra's place - the location was perfect for our needs: not too close to busy Kilronan, but still close enough to walk or cycle there for a bite to eat. Having all main sightseeing opportunities (Kilmurvey beach, Poll na bPéist and Dún Aonghasa in walking and cycling distance) was an additional advantage. Being woken up by the cuckoo calling was simply wonderful! We are definitely coming back! Thanks for having us, Sandra.

There was an issue with the WI-FI code but it got resolved. Their home is spacious and well appointed. There is a lovely private lawn at the rear of the home with a fountain and barbecue. I was only there two days and choose it for it’s proximity to the Cliffs of Moher and Shannon Airport; it was close to both! If guests were spending an extended time with several in the party it would be a well suited accommodation.

Lovely ambience, completely into nature. They got my kids loved the place a lot, they got Beautifull farm land with sheep's, horses, hens and woods to walk in with kids play area.

Anne is a fantastic host. the house is fab. really cosy and extremely well equipped. Anne had left some food for us on arrival and some delicious home made raspberry jam. there is loads to do around. beautiful part of the country. I could not recommend it enough. we had a super stay. 10 out of 10

Un alojamiento muy cómodo, estuvimos muy agusto como en casa. Las camas muy cómodas y la cocina con todo lo necesario en un sitio muy agradable y cerca de muchos sitios para ver, sobre todo junto al PN Connemara. Repetiríamos.

Danny's condo is very well laid out and the trails to walk along from his garden were amazing, a particular hit for our two dachshunds running up the hills with us. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice cozy base for exploring the area and will be back when we are next in the area.

Lovely place to stay. Quiet residential street but very close to stroll down to town centre. House had nice layout and terrace area overlooking river. Pat was very welcoming and it was a lovely touch to have some basic groceries in the house for us. House well furnished and good utilities. Plenty of restaurants open nearby and even some live music which was great for so late in the year.

Het verblijf bij Jess en Dara was uniek. Nog nooit zoiets beleefd. Uniek want afgelegen, romantisch, ook wat primitief. Als je van vuurtje stoken houdt is dit de plek. Onze hosts waren geweldig: lief en spraakzaam, behulpzaam en blij. Iedereen die buiten de gebaande paden zoekt kunnen we deze locatie aanbevelen

Can we give 6 stars?? Orlagh is the most lovely host and gave a lot of useful recommendations, thanks Orlagh for the warm welcome. The place is gorgeous and the view is stunning! There is a walkable loop around that offers incredible views of the land and the sea. It’s just STUNNING and when it’s raining (it’s Ireland after all it has to!) you can snuggle in front of the fire place!! We loved our stay and we will be back - we recommend this place 200%

Carmel, was very responsive leading up to check in. Fire was prepared and hot tub warming up upon arrival. excellent tranquil location for a quiet get away. would highly recommend. Hidden gem.

Every amenity was in excellent condition, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cosy living spaces that were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Irene, the house manager, was an absolute joy to communicate with. Always prompt and accommodating, she ensured that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a secluded escape to truly appreciate the rugged charm of Connemara, Hawthorn House is an exceptional choice. We left feeling refreshed and connected to the beauty of Ireland’s west. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful place ,great location fabulous scenery and very private location with a very relaxing hot tub. As for the hosts they were amazing super friendly and done everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend and we will be back soon. Thank you very much.

Can't say enough about Carmel's Shepherd hut. The pictures do not do enough justice. An Absolutely beautiful place, very private with your own personal hot tub and BBQ/Campsite. Very aesthetic lighting as well. Definitely recommend this place for short breaks/getaways. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great break from the rat race. Exactly what we needed. Colm was attentive and accommodating our late arrival. It was great that we could have our doggie with us. Worth it!

We loved our stay. The place was so cosy with really comfortable beds and lovely underfloor heating. The location was fabulous, it felt completely remote and yet it was a five minute drive to a lovely town that had a large Supervalue and a lovely bakery. We explored lots of places such as the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch which were both close by. So light and airy inside with beautiful colours that reflected the landscape, a very interesting array of books as well. Our favourite part was the barrel hot tub where you can look up at the stars at night (there are so many because of the lack of light pollution in the area). Definitely check this place out!

Our stay at Dorothy's place was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, Dorothy's warmth, humor, and genuine care made us feel right at home. She truly is the most wonderful host you could ever wish for. The house is beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches and plenty of information about the local area. Dorothy was always available to offer invaluable advice on where to eat, explore, and even save money. Her recommendations were spot on and made our trip even more special. The location is perfect, with a stunning lake just a short walk away. Thanks to Dorothy's provided equipment, we enjoyed kayaking and taking in the serene views. The hot tub was another highlight—spacious, impeccably maintained, and absolutely enchanting at night with the fairy lights twinkling around us. Outdoor space's perfect for alfresco dining, and the presence of the donkeys and two friendly dogs added an extra layer of charm to our stay. It truly felt like a slice of haven on earth. 10/10
