We loved staying at Lauren’s place! She decorated it beautifully and even put out the Christmas decorations for our family Thanksgiving weekend. The house was so festive. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed watching the alligators and the turtles behind the house in the waterway from the balconies! The beach was gorgeous on a cold winter day and we went for long walks and several golf cart rides. We felt completely at home and Lauren was so sweet and such an incredible communicator. Thank you for everything!!!!

Kelli’s place was great. The backyard is peaceful and the house is in a perfect location.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was exactly as described—beautiful, clean, and very well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house had everything we needed, making it a perfect home away from home. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our large family! It had plenty of bathrooms (and hot water) for quick and easy clean up of the little ones after long days at the beach and on the water. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe! Lots to do in the area all within minutes of the house. The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool. The location offered easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. Tracy was wonderful and easy to contact. I’d definitely pick this home again if ever in the area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Michelle's place. It is a beautiful, peaceful retreat and we spent every morning on the porch enjoying the views with our coffee. The location is as remote as described and you better have some great vehicle backup skills to use on the one lane causeway! :) Michelle was a great host and very responsive. We lost power one evening and she immediately answered my call to report the outage and direct me to candles for the house. Overall, we had a very relaxing wonderful girls trip! Thank you, Michelle!

We had so much fun on our trip to Fripp. The house sits by the marina on one side and the marsh on the other but wasn’t too loud or too busy. We spent most of our mornings out in the back deck watching the tide come in and watching wildlife with the binoculars provided. Monday morning we found that there was no internet. I had a conference call for work, so this was a bit inconvenient. I went up to the guest service center and found they too had no internet. That afternoon we went to Hunting Beach, and they also had no internet. Check out was a bit early, but we still managed to use the bikes in the garage to run down to the beach for sunrise and clean up before we left. There were no trash cans so we just put our trash bags in the area the cans were supposed to be. Can’t wait for our next low country trip!

This place is great. Just like the pictures. Very private. Beautiful views including wildlife sightings. Dolphin, deer… Everything was very comfortable and clean. Minutes from restaurants. Biking paths everywhere. Communication with owner when we arrived and left. We didn’t need anything. The best place to be.

We decided to check out Tybee Island on our drive back to Maryland from Florida this year. It was a perfect weekend respite to break up the long drive. The cottage is just as pictured -cozy, rustic and delightfully charming. I loved all of the whimsical touches throughout (particularly the champagne bell!) The king bed and living area chairs were very comfortable but the best spot was out on the screened dock porch-lounging on the swinging bed-cool in the shade and by the constant breezes. While the tide swings didn't cooperate for use of the kayaks, we did enjoy biking all over the island and the use of the golf cart to explore. The outdoor shower was also a big win! I highly recommend this spot for some R&R!

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all, this is it! Sunsets are amazing. It is perfect for stargazing. And the silence seeps into your soul. We left rejuvenated. Her place was perfect for the 2 of us. I would stay here monthly if I could! Ps. I highly recommend getting some shrimp & oysters (if you come in the ‘R’ months) at Flowers on Hwy 174 heading to Edisto Beach.

Oh my…..the perfect stay to experience southern lowcountry living on the river! The cottage provided everything needed, was spotless clean, and the views were excellent. And having access to the expansive patio with incredible river views was exceptional. A truly relaxing stay in a beautiful property in a great town!

We had a wonderful little getaway, we absolutely loved staying at the Mermaid Tiki Cottage. It was so beautifully decorated, very clean, and we felt so comfortable there. The golf cart was great, it was a great location. We would definitely stay here again. Missy was wonderful at keeping in touch with us, before and during our trip!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was amazing. Wonderful views of the creek (which is bigger than what the photos reflect). The house was clean and had everything you needed. Spent a lot of time on the front porch taking in everything. My daughter and son came down for a day. Their favorite part was feeding the deer! Joni and Todd were so nice and helpful when asked about places to eat or shop. Would love to go back soon and re-live an amazing week of peace, comfort, and tranquility.

We could not ask for more. simple, clean and close to town. He had everything you could need or want in the cabin. His recommendation of Blackstone cafe was a pleasant surprise. Best breakfast we've ever had. We forgot to bring our beach wagon and he was nice enough to deliver one to our door. If you are picky about your extra privacy, this may not be for you. We had plenty of privacy inside and didnt spend much time hanging out outside of the cabin so it's fine for us. They are quiet people and incredibly friendly but you do see the backside of their house. We like making friends! 😊 I am planning to go back next year one weekend was not enough l.
