Remote area that's about 15 min from Interstate 70. Quiet & peaceful w/minimal road traffic. Farming area. In warm weather, fish in our pond or visit/fish nearby Ramsey Lake State Park. Amish in the area & a local Amish market. Go for walks in our wooded area. Relax on a private deck in the evening. Queen bed, full bed, as well as a couch w/matching loveseat. NOTE on pets: 1 small pet under 25 lbs. allowed: PLEASE read our pet rules & agree to follow them before requesting a reservation.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Drive down the lane to a secluded 3 bedroom home newly furnished. It can accomodate up to 4 people comfortably. Vandalia has lots to offer. The historic Old State Capitol where Abraham Lincoln once visited , a walking trail in Rogier Park and beautiful Vandalia Lake.

Relax and renew at this peaceful lake retreat. The private backyard, fire pit, patio, and boat dock with kayaks, inflatable paddleboard, floating tubes, and lily pad are available for your enjoyment, as well as the Traeger grill on the upper deck The shed key is in your unit to access most of these items. Please lock the shed before you leave.

Sonnemann Cabin

Rustic one room log cabin. Built in 1931. Bathroom is on the back porch with both hot and cold water. The cabin is equipped with an airconditioner, heater, refrigerator, microwave, stove, grill and a queen sized bed. Setting is rural and tranquil. Very quiet, beautiful place to relax and unplug. No TV or WIFI, but good cellular signal.
