This was the best place we stayed on our entire trip to Iceland! Beautiful view of Hofsós, comfortable, cozy, adorable spot and Þóra is the most accommodating host. We locked ourselves out in the first hour because we were very tired and dumb and Þóra had us back in within 2 minutes. She had great recommendations on what to do in Hofsos which is a beautiful town. Next time I’m in Iceland I would probably stay here the entire trip. THANK YOU, Þóra

Amazing place. The location is great, overlooking the town across the water. The house is very spacious, especially the common areas, so a large grouos can spend evenings together easily. Very easy communication with Anna and clear check-in instructions, too. Would definitely recommend!

Soffía and the friends host us super well! They are quick reaction when there is electricity problem happen to the whole town, the friends around comes over and fixed all the problems efficiently. They are really warm, and we feel like home. The home looks better than the pictures, it looks like art! We like the jukebox, category of record, and the ukulele. Location: the home is easy to find with numbers , a sigle house located in the small town, there is market, just few mins walk, you can buy the daily essentials, food, drinks, etc, but the host already have everything :) it's close to the scenic points, Mývatn. Surrounding: it's very cozy place, safe and quiet at night; there is hot spring around here for 5-6 min drive. Accommodations: the host seems living here, so it's well equipped with washing machine, dryer, well set up kitchen with ingredients and everything(more than what we have at home). Love the TV paper, i thought it was real painting at the beginning! Very warm!

Linda è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo trovato una casa semplice accogliente e molto calda. Una sauna e una vasca la renderebbero ancora migliore. Abbiamo avuto un problema con il bagno che ha risolto tempestivamente, e poi un disguido con la cucina non fatto di proposito. Sicuramente consiglio e tornerò. In inverno non è facile raggiungere per le strade ma sarà stupendo con le luci del nord

This was my favorite place among all the Airbnbs I stayed at in Iceland. The view from both the room and the living room was amazing, and the space felt very homey. There’s also a small room with a beautiful view that felt really romantic. If I ever come back to Iceland, I’d definitely stay here again!☺️

The house is amazing!!!! Everything is perfect. The living room get a sea view, when you take coffee and watching sunrise or sunset in the house, very comfortable. If I have more time, I will spend 3 days in here.

Beautiful cozy house in the center of Dalvik. Walking distance to the local restaurant and the beach. Stunning views of the mountains all around the house. It was a treat to fall asleep every night with the delicate sound of waves from the nearby beach. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Airbnb. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Wohlfühlen. Leider war in der Beschreibung angegeben, dass die Unterkunft für drei Personen geeignet ist, jedoch war nur ein Bett vorhanden – ein Schlafsofa, wie beschrieben, fehlte. Glücklicherweise war der Gastgeber äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er reagierte sofort und stellte uns schnell und unkompliziert ein weiteres Zimmer zur Verfügung, sodass das Problem im Handumdrehen gelöst war. Dafür möchten wir uns herzlich bedanken! Insgesamt ein tolles Airbnb mit einem sehr engagierten Gastgeber – wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

We had a great stay at this modern apartment right in the city center of Akureyri! The location couldn’t be better—everything we needed was within walking distance, including grocery stores, great restaurants, and couple of good cafes. Being near a couple of roads and a bus stop, there was a bit of city noise at times, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience. The apartment itself was stylish, clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was especially impressive—modern, well-equipped, and perfect for cooking a meal during our stay. Bathroom sink had a drainage problem but the host addressed it the next day. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable home base in the city!

Hands down the favorite place we stayed during our trips! Conveniently located near downtown but, quieter than staying in a more touristy area. They were great hosts and super helpful and the place was in great condition. Will be recommending this place to any friends I know traveling to Iceland.

Absolutely lovely place to stay - our second time here. Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, lovely to come home to at the end of each day. Great shower! 2 mins walk from a lovely cafe and public swimming baths with hot tubs. Special thanks to Kristjana for buying 2 yoga mats for the house so that we could use them during our stay.

Wonderful stay at Ketill’s studio apartment. Would stay there again. The location is fantastic (right in the heart of downtown Akuryeri)

Our stay here was very comfortable. This was the best equipped of all the kitchens and apartment in general of all the bnb’s we stayed at. Warm and cosy with the underfloor heating. Very easy to find just on the road 85. Highly recommend. Cute cheeky puppies too 🥰

A beautiful apartment on the ground floor of an apartment building with its on backyard. Woke up to snow covered mountains and fields. Beautifully decorated and maintained with all the necessary conveniences. It had two rooms with double beds, a laundry room with an additional store area. There is a shopping complex nearby and the botanical garden and hospital are just across the road. I left my jacket in the cupboard when I left and Asa and her sister Sigrun were kind enough to arrange for me to retrieve it. This was definitely one of the better Air bnb's we have stayed in.

Vert satisfied with oue stay in Akureyri. Egill's place was spot on what we were looking for in terms of space within the apartment and place.

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

We enjoyed this rental. Right next to all of the best restaurants, stores and easy access for highway to all of our day trips to the North. Beds were comfortable and there was a lot of room for everyone. Very clean and well stocked with everything needed.

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

Nicely decorated apartment, spacious kitchen, free street parking right by the door, responsive host, good linen. Note that the washing machine and dryer are in a shared room with the apartment downstairs.

One of our favorite places that we stayed during our trip around the Ring Road! This was a very comfortable apartment for our family of four in a lovely historic village with gorgeous views of towering mountains and beautiful horses. Ragnheidur was an incredible host. Her apartment was immaculate, well stocked, and very relaxing. We were grateful to have a place to do laundry and a make our own meals with the wonderful bonus of watching the horses play just outside of the apartment. We all slept well and appreciated the suggestions for local sites. Highly recommend staying here! And we would love to return for a longer stay. Thank you!!!!
