You will sit in an outdoor setting under the sun and will hear mesmerising stories and tales of the Madmaheshwar region. The local storyteller will be happy to answer your questions (if any). This is just part of an immersive experience you are about to witness in the Madmaheshwar valley.

• Explore Local Village Life, right in the upper Himalayas.

• Explore the beauty of the upper Himalayan Trek.

. Experienced and trained trek guides.

After breakfast, you will head to a 14 km trek up to Madmaheswar temple with your local community guide.

This is a moderate to difficult trek as the first 6 km to village Gaundar is a flat trek. From here it is an 8 km trek, slightly difficult to manoeuvre but by a little nudge from our experienced guide, you will get there eventually.

You will consequently pass through lush green pine and deodar hills and listen to the crackle and the whistling of the beautiful Himalayan river which is in turn, one of the tributaries of river Ganga.

The Trek is filled with unmatched picturesque beauty with peaks of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, and Nilkanth welcoming you.

You will stay for the night at the accommodation/home-stay.

After a night there you will return. Next day will be a day off by yourself and after that you will be led to another experience.

Learning is an ongoing process and we should never ever stop growing in life. What better way to teach yourself and your kids about values like humbleness, gratitude, commitment, the value of food, patience, generosity and handwork in a single holiday.

You will be taken to a village farm where you will be given theory and practical knowledge about farming.
