Larkswold is a Cotswold Crafting destination for those who wish to experience a workshop in a relaxing and restorative environment, run by friendly, well-informed locals.
During our Candle Making Workshop you will learn how to make poured candles, adding essential oils, colours & your choice of decorations to ensure your candles are totally unique to you. Ideal for gifts or to keep!
Long wooden tables in our beautifully decorated marquee allow plenty of space, and the coffee is always on to enjoy with our delicious homemade cakes, all included.
Our aim is to send you away feeling rejuvenated, refreshed & happy with your creations, and with a wealth of local knowledge!

You do not need any experience to successfully make your own candles. We will lead you through the process.

Our marquee is set in the grounds of Adlestrop Station House, alongside a river with open views across the fields. We are just 5 minutes from Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh is a similar distance, Chipping Norton is 15 minutes away.

Worth every penny. Had the most AMAZING candle making experience which exceeded expectations. The workshop was packed full of beautiful and unique decorations which were perfectly themed for the occasion of Halloween with stunning Autumn colours. The unlimited home made cakes, hot drinks (spiced apple was my fav) and glass of Prosecco made the experience even more special. Melinda and Emma were the best hosts you could ask for, they went above and beyond to make sure you had a great time. The candle making and all the accessories meant that we left with 4 beautifully unique handmade candles perfect each for our home and presents for family. The 3 hours flew by, happily would have spent all day there. The workshop had the perfect balance of training and alone time to get creating. Thank you Melinda and Emma! 🌟 Hope to visit again soon! This is the most amazing place! It is so idyllic, the set up is incredible, the hosts were fantastic, so friendly and welcoming, such a fun process, our candles came out looking so expensive! Could not recommend higher, you will love this experience.

We stumbled across this experience by chance, but are so glad we found it! A lovely morning spent in a great location, with fab hosts getting to be creative.
Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something a bit different. The little extras were so thoughtful and definitely made this a highlight of our trip.
We look forward to coming back in the future to try a new craft / workshop. All the best Emma & Melinda!
