So much to say! Big enough for everyone to have their space and yet cozy enough to feel like home. The furniture and layout was really inviting; beds were comfortable. Took full advantage of the coffee bar (thank you!) and the little extras - like towels for the hot tub, extra dog bed and water bowl downstairs - didn't go unnoticed. Oh - and the kitchen is well-stocked with good utensils and equipment - even a waffle maker and slow cooker if you need it! Wi-fi worked great. Driveway and road leading to cabin is accurately described - it's steep!! - but you get used to it after a bit.

We had an amazing stay at Thomas's cabin in Slade! The location is absolutely perfect—just minutes from the main entrance to Red River Gorge via the iconic Nada Tunnel, and close to all the popular hikes and outdoor activities in the area. It’s also conveniently located near Stanton, so picking up groceries or any essentials was quick and easy. The cabin itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture and thoughtful design throughout. It was spotless, well-organized, and had plenty of space for my three kids to enjoy their downtime inside. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and we loved relaxing on the porch, soaking in the peaceful views. This place was a perfect blend of comfort and adventure—we’d definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at this beautiful cabin and had an amazing experience. The location is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the busy city life. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved sitting outside in the mornings, listening to the sounds of nature with a cup of coffee. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making the whole process smooth and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, I highly recommend this cabin!

This house was amazing in every way. We stayed here with our 3 little kids (ages 2, 4, 7) and there were ample accommodations to keep them entertained - games, puzzles, movies, and especially the fun discovery. For the adults, it was a delight to have everything we could want and need, plus the bonus of being so perfectly decorated with great art throughout. Not to mention the grounds were excellent to spend time outside in a peaceful setting. We were close to great RRG trails and yummy restaurants. All 5 of us are ready to go back!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to hiking and great spots to eat. We brought our dog and didn't have any issues with their dogs being nearby. The back deck has a little gate to close off getting to the front of the house, which was very helpful to have our dog with us on the deck without worrying if she would wonder to the front. Cabin is comfortable and had everything we needed- loved the Blackstone! Surroundings are peaceful and really beautiful. Our son loved to play with their doggies. Lastly, Tim and Tammy were always responsive, and were very kind. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful cabin! It was peaceful to be away from everything! The cabin had everything that we needed for a weekend getaway. My only complaints are that the beds weren't very comfortable. I am spoiled with my bed at home, so it's hard to compete. Also, the woodbees were horrific. They do have bee traps outside that are helpful, but the bees did make the porch uncomfortable to enjoy at times. Nothing was wrong that would deter us from coming back! We would definitely come stay here again in the future!! Thank you, Erica, for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

We spent a portion of Spring Break in KY with plans to spend time in Red River Gorge, visit KY Horse Park and the Ark. Stanton was a great location to easily drive to and from all places. This home met our needs as a family, and had everything we needed. The pool was also a nice perk for the kids to burn off energy - ha! Benjamin was easy peasy and everything was just as he said. I would recommend! Of note, there’s a Kroger and Walgreens around the corner, as well as a Little Caesars pizza and McDonalds. We are super low maintenance people so this was very convenient for us, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a fancy town with a lot of commercial restaurants then this ain’t it. I live in a small town so I appreciated this home’s location. Just my speed! Thanks so much - we had a great time!
