I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, James made me feel right at home with his warm hospitality and attention to every detail. I highly recommend James as a host for anyone traveling to Ghana.

The house is amazing and there are some amenities in the area like a grocery store, bar and lounge, salons, and a restaurant that are all walking distance. the road are rough to navigate during rainy season which makes transportation a challenge. The driver that is available helps to eliminate this challenge.The house is amazing and loved the view of the lake. Gloria was helpful and always quick to respond.

The house is spacious, clean, serene and all. There's a beautiful garden as well. The owner is a great communicator and responds prompt to messages. Joseph and Belinda our hosts topped it all. I recommend this place for anyone traveling to the Kwahu region.

All I can say is Wowwwwwwwwwwww The place is beautiful. Already our friends and family are requesting the location of the cabins based on our videos and pictures. I love to travel frequently as London life can be very hectic and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the serenity and beauty of hidden haven cabins. Immediately all our stresses were washed away as we sat by the River surrounded by mango trees. The cabin was very nice with a large bathroom and extremely clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and had glass patio doors which allowed us to view the beautiful surroundings from our bed in the evening. We loved the place and wished we had stayed longer, but we had already booked other well known hotels close by for the remainder of our trip. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Ghana

There is no better place to stay in Akosombo! This was our 7th trip and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. We have also recommended River Cittages to many friends/colleagues who also have seen that this is a hidden gem. Don’t hesitate to spend a peaceful break here!
