Recharge in the natural world with Roos, Lyrebirds and Eagles & forage in the garden. Stroll to the water, take out a Kayak, catch dinner or just watch the swans and pelicans go about their day. Please note the vehicular ferry is out for maintenance from Nov 10 til Dec 7. During this time we can collect you from the passenger ferry. Wide open spaces, fresh sea air and no crowds. Transport yourself to a 2- storey Hansel and Gretel style cottage in a forest by the water on an island where you can see koalas and wildlife up close in their natural environment. Only 4 hours from Melbourne. We are very sorry pets are not permitted here due to the sensitive nature of the wildlife.

Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage

Pet friendly cosy and warm rustic cottage on the water at Eagle Point. Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage is on Lake King of Gippsland Lakes. Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty. On windy days watch kite surfers out the front. The ambience and serenity are wonderful. Electric vehicle? We are happy to have it plugged in while you are here
