Holingsberg River Cottage is an exclusive Self Catering River Fly Fishing Destination for the serious fly fisher. The chalet is upmarket and private, and situated on a working farm yard, where the owners live. The kids are welcome to interact and learn about the farm animals. The fly fisher has 1.5km of river front, 300m away. Come and enjoy the splendid view from the patio while preparing dinner, relaxing around a fire, and discuss the catch of the day. Khaya Mandevu - a bush getaway

Khaya Mandevu is a quirky old farmhouse from the 1920’s, situated on a fish farm in mountainous and malaria-free Schoemanskloof. A covered verandah overlooks a dam below, there's a small dip pool for cooling off and a beautiful stretch of river close by with huge Matumi trees. Marked hiking trails extend from river to mountain top, with indigenous forest in 2 gorges, waterfalls, cascades, and archaeological sites to explore. Ideal for nature lovers, birders, tree and history enthusiasts.

Eden Rain

The house is centrally located and is within easy walking distance to the main attractions. It has its own fenced off garden and is situated in a small estate with 3 other houses. There's a solar system which keeps lights, wifi and the fridge on during loadshedding! The main living area is spacious and has a beautiful sunroom for lounging around. Each bedroom can be arranged into either double or single beds which is ideal for any group booking and there is a pizza oven available as well.

Self-Catering/Pet Friendly

This old favorite, offers panoramic views, tranquility, and privacy. It boasts a fenced garden and spacious stoep for braais and sundowners. Adventure seekers can hike the mountain for a breathtaking vista. IMPORTANT: Regrettably, the Stone Cottage lacks electricity due to transformer damage from a recent storm. The repair timeframe is unknown, but we have a generator on hand for your convenience. We apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we're pursuing alternatives.

Tegwaan Country Getaway – The Stone Cottage

Climb – Hike – Bike – Fish – Relax...Tegwaan is the perfect place to stay if you want to have access to a lot of fun outdoor activities while staying in a comfortable place! Immersed in nature, Tegwaan is a little ecosystem of its own: with fresh water springs, several fish ponds and a creek, the grass is always green, the trees are tall and the birds are happy! :-) The Stone Cottage sleeps 6 adults and is ideal for big families or 2-3 couples, especially with kids.
