The Homestead, Walkersons Estate

Welcome to The Homestead@Walkersons The house has an open plan dining area, living area with a fireplace & kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining & family gatherings. The estate (at over 7km2) has mountain springs, forests & waterfalls. There are fantastic walking, cycling & running paths including trail paths on the Wildlife Reserve. The Estate has a runway & Helipad that can be used if arranged. The house is cleaned on Tuesday & Thursdays, other days can be arranged at additional cost.

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.

Oak View is equipped with Solar Panels so that you can still enjoy the house to its fullest during Loadshedding.

For the discerning guest, Vlettershof Self-catering Guest Farm offers a discrete, private, tranquil and comfortable farm stay. Located a mere 1,2km from Dullstroom on 25ha, Vlettershof offers the best of both worlds. On site activities include angling, canoeing, walks and mushroom foraging (in season). Marabou’s king bed and tidy sitting area are warmed each evening by an indoor fireplace, while the patio opens right onto the African bush and the dam’s distinct ecosystem. Brentwood Cottage

Brentwood Cottage is nestled between Watervalboven and Machadodorp. This cabin offers the ultimate peace and quite with a beautiful dam view. The spacious bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and a single bed. Guests can unwind under the covered patio with outdoor seating and a Weber braai. Please note that the road leading up to the farm isn't suitable for cars with low ground clearance (sport cars).
