Ocotillo Casita in Historic Mesilla

Mesilla STR Permit #0830 We've renovated 90-year-old historic structures to create sustainable, environmental friendly spaces with rainwater harvesting, solar energy, electric solar-powered car charger. This renovated adobe casita is the 2nd structure after our main house. The 3rd is a smaller vacation rental called Yucca Casita. We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals).

Casita La Pacana is nestled in the middle of town surrounded by old pecan trees. Casita De Cuervo is a beautiful detached casita. This spacious & quiet casita is very close to popular hiking trails and feels remote while being less than 15 minutes from I-25, NMSU, and both hospitals. This home has a full kitchen, king bed, open living room, work nook, bar stool dining, & much more. Dogs are welcome - there is an enclosed side yard with tall walls for your use. Enjoy the sunrise over the Organ Mountains on the back porch and breathtaking sunset views over the city.

This lovingly remodeled casita just fifteen minutes from downtown Las Cruces is open, spacious, and comfortably equipped for any length stay. Take in the views of the mountains, watch the birds, or relax in the hot tub under the stars. Hike to the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument via an arroyo from the casita, take a dip in the pool, or rest in the peaceful and tastefully decorated space. It is a perfect place for a quiet getaway or as a base to explore the area.

Your lodging in the Casita is attached to the now deconsecrated St Francis de Sales Church, surrounded by a large Spanish courtyard, garden, and a private patio and parking area. Experience the adobe spaces as built in 1860. The church compound is walled and gated. We are located 1 1/2 miles southeast of Hatch in a colonia called Rodey. Look for the bell tower from Hwy 185 and begin your experience here.

Less than 50 feet from the door of Casa Majik is a trail leading to "A" Mountain. Parking is for a maximum of two cars on the property. Restaurants and Memorial Hospital are 2 miles away.
