The home was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything needed, especially in the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking so easy and convenient. The overall setup of the house was thoughtful and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. On top of that, the scenery from the house was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect backdrop for a getaway. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped stay. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

It’s location was strategic for our requirements. Beautiful house with a huge compound with lots of nature surrounded. Good view for both sunsets and sunrise, loved his place very much. Hence, there an outdoor kitchen as well. And not forgetting the wonderful five friendly companions. Beautiful flowers and nature surrounding with paddy fields and a fish pond. A tranquil place to chill and heal, the internet is also reliable. The caretaker; Mr Amit and family as also very helpful. Offered us all the support and assistance during our stay. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in this part of the world.

Wir haben uns von der ersten Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem komfortablen, großen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus. Es liegt am Ende einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mit einem tollen Blick über das Tal und den Fluss bis zu den Bergen. Sakunthala hat uns supernett begrüßt und alles getan dafür, dass wir uns gut aufgenommen fühlten. Sie ist darüber hinaus auch eine gute Köchin die uns bestes Essen serviert hat. Auch die Hausbesitzer Aude und Ariyam, die wir später kennenlernen durften, sind sehr nett und waren immer bemüht, unseren Aufenthalt so bequem wie möglich zu gestalten. Das einzige, was wir bereuen, ist, dass wir nur drei Tage gebucht hatten und dann weiterreisen mussten. Sehr gerne würden wir nochmal kommen. Vielen Dank für alles! Katharina

We stayed for a couple of days up the hill at Dilrukshi’s place. She had a kind family and we had the most amazing breakfast with her mum a couple of times. The room are nice and the beds are good. The hill is walking distance from the viewpoint but it still feels very serene, since it is at the very top of the hill. Dilrukshi is very good with kids too, our youngest one fell in love I think.

Anjana and her husband were lovely hosts for our time in Kandy. The room was as described & pictured with the balcony views far exceeding the photos! Anjana always made sure we had breakfast & dinner at a time we wanted - her kottu was a highlight for us! Anjana organised a day out for us with a tuktuk guide to where we wanted to visit, at a very good price. Her husband also took us to the train station the day we checked out which we were very grateful for. Overall we really enjoyed our stay with Anjana and would happily return if the opportunity came in the future

We loved staying so close to nature! We spend almost two weeks here. It’s situated right on the edge of the Udawatta sanctuary, so monkeys visited us quite a few times which was nice to see! It’s not far from the city but when we went food shopping we took the tuktuk back and it cost us around 200 LKR. So if you want something private, calm but also walkable to the centre, this is it. Just mind that it’s close to the forrest and not much light goes in through the trees. But on the other hand the temperature in the apartment was nice due to the location. There’s no need for AC but there’s a fan if you need it. The kitchen has some amenities like rice cooker and smoothie maker. But it could maybe use a bit more cutlery like a new wooden spoon, but things like pan and pots were really good. The WiFi was perfect, no problem with that.

We had a wonderful stay at Pubudu 's place . Our caretaker - Bala made every effort to provide us a comfortable and relaxing stay. He is well aware about his boundaries and knows when we need our privacy and his assistance. The accommodation is located in a hilltop with a great view . If you wish to stay there, take everything with you since the nearest township is located at the downhills.

Labai patogus būstas. Viskas kruopščiai apgalvota ir paruošta patogiam poilsiui. Polonaruvoje sunku prisikviesti taksi su PickMe programėle. Bet mes radome puikų Tuk tuk vairuotoją Bandulą. Jis mus ir vežiojo už gerą kainą, ir davė daug gerų patarimų apie lankytinas vietas, taip pat kokiu metu jas lankyti, o ko vengti. Tai buvo labai naudinga. Jis nuomoja dviračius dvigubai pigiau nei kiti. Padėjo rasti ir motorolerių nuomą, kai mums to reikėjo. Bandula labai gerai kalba angliškai. Rekomenduoju į jį kreiptis Polonaruvoje. Telefono nr prašykite būsto šeimininko, čia neleidžia juo pasidalinti.
