The Red House is a beautifully furnished 1 bedroom holiday cottage located in Raithal village in the Uttarakhand. Perched at an elevation of 2250 meters amidst the lush greenery, Raithal village is popular among seasoned trekkers as it's the base camp to Dayara Bugyal. The cottage offers an absolutely breath-taking views of the Himalayan ranges, green meadows and biodiversity (as you can clearly make out from the pictures).The guests need to climb up a hill for 400 m from village centre.

It is a wooden house, located at an altitude of 2,300 mtr in the Mid Himalayas region of gangotri valley. Our homestay is just 6 km away from Gangnani(gangotri highway). Our village, Bhangeli village is a small Hamlet of 40-45 peaceful Shepard families who are very hardworking and mostly engaged in farming and working as a guide in treks. We have a natural cave on our property and have many activities for the guest who would love to be in nature. Visible parking from the homestay.

Our homestay is situated above the Harsil market. Reaching there requires a short hike along a narrow path encompassed by tall pine trees. Our home offers a panoramic view of the entire Harsil Valley and the Bhagirathi river. Harsil is 25 km (1 hour) before 'Gangotri', making it the perfect layover spot before you begin your religious pilgrimage to the Gangotri temple. Our homestay is 2 km from Bhagori, a Tibetan colony. It also lies near other trekking routes.
