Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. A perfect escape to the country, your very own tranquil homestead set on 50 acres nestled on a hill with breathtaking views of the scenic rim mountains. In just over an hour from Brisbane you can be relaxing on the deck enjoying a glass of wine from one of the nearby wineries, sitting around the fireplace or toasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The homestead is only a 7 minute drive to Boonah township and on the same road and only a 3 minute drive to Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm.

A country getaway on 5 acres. A neat little cottage with 2 bedrooms, and a 3rd bedroom/granny flat if needed 5 acres. Close to wineries in the South Burnett region, with easy getaways to bicycle trails, state forest as well as local townships with lots of local food and delicacies. NOTE: We have had request for families with infants. There is unfenced dam on the property, and we have been advised not the take bookings with infants. No work bookings please, as we have had bad experiences.
