Top ⭐ to the hot tub on the upper deck: the view of a clear night sky was jaw dropping beautiful. We had a peaceful and happy stay at the Salty Dog. Beth & Atticus we're right on it when something needed a handyman's attention. The Christmas decorations were above and beyond. We had some noisy toddlers with us, and the sound carries. We made some adjustments. I'll definitely remember seeing the stars more though.

Stayed during a duck hunt and worked out perfect. Everything with the house was as listed. Check in was easy and instructions were clear.

Daniel did a great job communicating with us. The house was clean and as advertised. He gave us a nice complimentary gift of wine glasses and a free dozen bagels at a local bakery during our stay. He was great to work with and really enjoy the stay and overall experience. Really appreciate all the hard work and extra touches that Daniel put into making our stay so nice.

We loved our stay at Sunrise Surf on the southern Shores! The location was great. The house was even better than expected/than the pictures. Everything was well stocked and we really appreciated that. The heated pool and the hot tub were amazing for our spring break vacation. I would not hesitate to book this again!

This was our first time at the Outer Banks and it did not disappoint. The space was as described. The complex is well taken care of and quiet. Everything was there we needed. Loved that we didn’t have to bring our own beach stuff and the wagon was great to bring it all to the beach. It was a short walk out the door to the ocean. We’d come back. We also loved finding a space that was perfect for the two of us. Hosts were great to communicate with.

Nice quite location

We had an amazing stay at this place with a group of friends for the weekend. Their house was thoughtfully decorated and spacious for all of us. We will be back. Currituck trading post, pass the salt and Morris Farms were all great experiences in the local town.

This house was perfect for us! It was a beautiful, private location. The house was spacious, clean, and very conducive to spending time together as a family, but also for quiet time, if needed. The location was awesome and it was so helpful having a parking pass for the beaches. 10/10 would totally stay here again.

Location was perfect. Short walk to beach. Short drive to 4wd beach access. I just aired down at our place as it wasn't that far. Place was very clean and a good layout for two couples.

Salty Root fit the bill for what we were looking for!. We have a large family plus dogs and a fenced yard to enjoy plus walking distance to the beach. Everyone had their own rooms. Our adult children plus grand kids each had their own rooms and bathroom. A real plus! Beds and bedrooms were comfortable and quietThe gathering areas were perfect for game playing and hanging out. Kitchen was great with plenty of dishes and cooking equipment for all our gang! We particularly enjoyed the backyard where we went swimming, had many backyard volleyball games and enjoyed the hot tub. Each morning as our grandkids woke early they enjoyed a swim with their dad and nice hotub! The beach was just up the block , and we expected the busy road in front , but easily navigated it to get to the beach. Melissa was super attentive to any questions or things we needed attending to. Her response was immediate and super caring and friendly. She was so accommodating and we felt special.

This was a beautiful place with lots of room. The host was super responsive to any questions and also offered up local adventures to enjoy. House was clean and in great shape. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone and would use again. The kitchen was stocked perfect with all plates and cookware you need to host meals for a large family

Lisa was absolutely an incredible host! The home was beautiful and it was in a quiet family friendly neighborhood which we loved! It truly was perfect but I do think the beds could use a little updating they are a bit hard and unsupportive but other than that it was an amazing stay and we would love to come back again!

The house is just as listed. Great location and all the amenities that you need. A little cold for the pool but enjoyed the top floor kitchen and living area. Decks made the mornings a great start. A very peaceful location and would book again without any hesitation.

Booking a rare four-week stay came with added pressure to make the right choice. We absolutely did! Mark’s home is spacious and well appointed with a wonderfully functional layout. The sound access is incredible, and beach access is super convenient whether you’re taking a quick stroll or setting up for the day. Mark was a great host in addition to local rental management. We loved making the most of resort amenities and the home’s thoughtfully stocked outdoor items, especially the kayaks. This location in Corolla is a perfect balance of small-town vibes with great food and lots to do. We can’t wait to return!

Nick and Chey’s place was perfect peaceful getaway. The interior was tastefully decorated, the nearest beach crossover is across the cul-de-sac, and the views from the top floor are amazing. Stunning sunrises and sunsets from that top deck. Hard to find houses in Corolla without any backyard neighbors, this place felt so private. Love that they updated the kitchen, bathrooms and thought of every convenience when they stocked the house. My wife and I usually vacation to the Outer Banks in the spring/summer, but we were meeting friends for the weekend and loved how accommodating Chey was. We’ll definitely be booking again in the future and bring our whole family next time to see how their new ground floor and pool area turn out. Can’t wait and thanks again!

Place is great, the beautiful sunsets every evening the sitting outside on porches just watching listening to water. Great location, minutes from everything. The elevator spoiled us loading/unloading luggage and groceries. Natalie is quick to respond to any problems that might arise. Don’t hesitate to book this place will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Karen’s place. The apartment is very comfortable, and the views are spectacular. I wish we had more time to enjoy the offerings. We hope to come back again!

This is the second year we’ve stayed at the house in the winter and it was just as fantastic as we remembered it. It’s seriously one of the most boujee and beautiful beach houses. You feel right at home, everything’s clean, and you have every kitchen appliance you’d ever need. The hot tub is especially nice - it’s so dark at night in Duck you can see every star while you lay in the warm water. Several times we talked from the house into Duck which was easy, and it’s right across the street to visit the actual beach. Internet speeds are 25mbps for the remote workers. While we were there the new fiber company was laying conduit, so hopefully they’ll get an upgrade soon. Not a single complaint I could make. The hosts are fantastic. Answer every phone call. They stopped by with a gift for being ok with a single construction bag in the driveway for the pool. They’re awesome, it looked perfectly fine but they went out of their way anyway. Book it!

Had a lovely weekend stay here as first timers in OBX. The airbnb was clean, had a fun and cozy vibe, and felt safe. Our french bulldog felt at home too! Hosts were super friendly and helpful with recommendations on which beaches allow dogs.

Robyns home was immaculate! good location. enjoyed the small pond in the back (saw a heron) you can see the pond from the kitchen window which is nice when you are cooking. it's so peaceful and relaxing. also enjoyed the swing and yard and porch. nice comfortable beds. good quality of linens, towels, etc in the home. Robyn is a good host. good communication. even had spices and pancake mix and syrup which was nice. great price. I also liked that the master bathroom was one side and the other two bedrooms in the other side of the house. there is a small step into the shower but very doable even for my elderly mom. wonderful, relaxing, well appointed, clean home with good quality items throughout from nice TVs to good beds to good pans and knives to cook with. thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home with nice touches all around. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space. Andrew was kind and very responsive. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle that's still within an hour of VA Beach.

Diane, Her attention to detail on the house and amenities were exceptional. Her instructions on how to get to her place was spot on. She provided the websites for things like tide times, driving on the beach which was a great help. The suggestions on some things to do in the town of Corolla were very good. To sum it up, she treats her guests like good friends.
