French doors lead out from the bedroom onto an outdoor dining, bbq area and garden.

The cottage is stone built and has a lovely garden and orchard. A place to be still and enjoy the birdsong. It is a spacious, warm and welcoming cottage. Step away from the busy world for some peace and relaxation in this original cottage. It’s suitable for family holidays and friends get-togethers but not loud parties as it’s in a family community.

An Capall (meaning Horse in Irish language) is a beautifully converted Horse Lorry currently out to grass overlooking a meandering river, nestled near Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck plus a single bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a private Finnish Sauna & River Plunge experience in our converted horse box (at an extra charge).

Dublin is an easy 35 minute drive, Glendalough under 30 minute and many nearby golf courses this is a great location to explore Irelands ancient east and the Wicklow mountains.

Set in Tidy Towns award winning Aughrim Village, Co Wicklow, 1 hr from Dublin, this charming former estate workers house, built 1893, has been redesigned sympathetically and simply decorated to create a charming get away. Accommodation: 2 double bedrooms (1 ensuite), a single bedroom, living room and kitchen and bathroom and utility space. NOTE Celings are low upstairs. We can comfortably accommodate 2 couples or a couple and up to 3 children with a pull out bed.
