County Dublin: aluguel por temporada com caiaque

Con mi hermano buscamos un lugar cercano al aeropuerto, así que decidimos hospedarnos en casa de Orlando y Noelia antes de comenzar nuestras clases. Ellos fueron muy hospitalarios y amables con nosotros, así como también siempre nos aconsejaron de cómo adaptarnos mejor en Dublin. Fue una muy grata experiencia.

Ein ruhiger und schöner Rückzugsort, nicht weit von Dublin. Das Grundstück ist gepflegt und die Einrichtung in gutem zustand. Der Gastgeber war leicht erreichbar und hat bei Fragen schnell geantwortet.

Rossnaree House is not a modern fru fru boutique hotel, but rather a delightful glimpse into the Ireland of long ago, a disappearing Ireland. All of the furnishings and decorations have family meaning, going back generations. Juxtaposed with that are the bathrooms, which have been tastefully modernized…the result is a lovely mixture of the old and the new. This house simply reeks of history and authenticity. The views from the rooms and the gardens are stunning…this area is the heartbeat of Mystical Ireland and if you allow you can and will be transported to another time, another realm. There are walkways down to the River Boyne and the ancient burial mound of Newgrange is close by. Simply stated this is as real and as authentic as it gets. Come with an open mind…but do come, fantastic…oh, and there are peacocks!

This was not a typical rental for us as we selected the place to be close to family that we visit each summer, without having to burden them as hosts in their own homes. We know the area well enough to know that there are not many rentals at the quality of this and very few in Howth at all! It truly was “home away from home” and could not have been nicer! The modern renovation done on the main floor is spectacular all the while keeping the charm of what is a very charming traditional Dublin house. The open plan in the kitchen and back garden was heavenly and the easy walk to a private beach is a huge bonus. We caught the bus and DART into town easily (a 5 and 12 minute walk respectively) and the grocery store —5 min away by car- has everything you could possibly need. Another fun bonus was the vegetable garden! I just wish I was coming back when the tomatoes were in season. Rest assured this place is as perfect as it shows online and we hope to come back someday.

We enjoyed our stay

Stayed here for the last 3 nights of our Ireland trip with our two daughters. Super central and walkable location. The bar downstairs can be a bit noisy if you’re sensitive (we are city people so it didn’t bother us at all). The flat was beautiful and perfect for our family. Definitely would recommend!
