Martin was a very helpful and responsive host. We arrived in the evening to find the house opened with lights on and the stove lit, it was very welcoming on a cold night. The house is in a scenic location and is very peaceful and private. All the beds were comfortable with good storage in each room. The bathroom is bright and modern with plenty of hot running water. Extra towels were available for our use. The kitchen dining living space is extremely spacious with a double height ceiling. It’s a very attractive space and ideal for a young family. The kitchen was well kitted out with all the essentials for cooking and an abundance of tableware. There are plentiful ledges for food preparation, with a large table as well as an island. A separate utility was another useful feature. Martin was a flexible host which we greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend honeymoon cottage.

Joli cottage bien rénové et équipé, avec un environnement agréable et reposant, une belle vue. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié sa localisation qui nous a permis de rayonner et visiter la baie de Galway, et jusqu'au Connemara. Nous avons vraiment apprécié ce séjour en famille. Nous tenons également à remercier Denis and Joyce pour leur très bon accueil et leur précieux conseils. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet hébergement et confirmons l'ensemble des commentaires très positifs déjà partagés par les autres voyageurs.

We had a great stay with 6 adults and 4 small children. Huge rooms and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Close enough to Kilkenny and lots of other surrounding attractions. The house warmed up nicely with lots of considerations from the host including hot water bottles, plenty of fuel for the fire and electric blankets on all of the beds which we didn’t need as the rooms were warm. Michael was a great host, communication was easy and he always responded in minutes. We will definitely return in the future when visiting Kilkenny.

Our stay with Fred went really well. The house was lovely and clean. It was exactly as it looked in the photos. He was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again. I was only staying in Mai's for one night but from the moment I got there I wanted to stay longer. Felt right at home, had breakfast in the garden in the morning gazing at the bluebells in the hedge and watching the Swallows swooping around the field. Fab.
