Come tour American History, hike the Appalachian Trail, bike the C&O Canal, see nature's wonders, and access Washington DC by commuter rail.

My home is in a quiet, safe, suburban neighborhood, approximately 20 minutes from Washington DC and 15 minutes from downtown Silver Spring. The closest Metro station is an 8 minute drive. It is a large two level ranch style home. Your bedroom and private bathroom will be on the main level where you enter the home. The kitchen, dining and living room reserved for guests is on the lower level which is above ground with a sliding glass door leading to the back patio. Driveway parking is available.

Enjoy the unique opportunity to spend time on a stunning Maryland horse farm and estate with private access to the Appalachian Trail in Maryland's Blue Ridge mountains. Located in historic Middletown, the farm is just 60 miles from downtown DC and 20 minutes west of Frederick. Our lovingly renovated 1900 guest cottage sits above an active mountain spring and beside the estate's main residence. You'll encounter chickens, cattle, horses and abundant wildlife as you hike and explore the property.

You will not have to pass through my private living area, so you will experience the level of privacy, freedom to come and go, and professionalism expected in a B&B or guesthouse. The Cottage is a restored wagon barn nestled against the Blue Ridge Mountains. You'll enjoy quality, comfort, quietude, and pastoral views. We are a fully licensed and inspected B&B on a 1790's farm in rural Loudoun County VA. Each morning you are treated to a continental breakfast of fresh pastry, fruit sourced from local farms, and homemade jams which we quietly deliver by 7:30 unless otherwise requested. Note that the base price is for 1-2 people. Guests 3 and 4 have additional fees.

Strawberry Inn (since 1973) is a 200-year old home in the middle of Main Street in historic New Market, MD. Dining and coffee shops are in walking distance. This ground-floor room has a private back porch entrance, king bed, WiFi, and private bath. Enjoy the garden and gazebo with a bottle of wine from a local vineyard. Breakfast snack bowl with fruit, breakfast bars, and Keurig are in the room. Airbnb is now adding their fee to our rate, that's why it looks like our rate went up.

Welcome to Falling Creek, conveniently located less than 3 miles from I95. Less than an hour drive from D.C. and only 10 - 15 min from Quantico and Downtown Fredericksburg where you can walk around to shop, eat or have a drink. Unlike some other places, we don't require you to perform any chores or cleaning before checking out. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities. Feel free to take your time, savor your last moments, and leave any tidying up to us.

The listing is for a room in a restored pre civil war farmhouse on Crickenwood Farm. Guest rooms are in the main farmhouse and share the common areas of the kitchen, library, living room and great room. This is a small working farm with cows and horses. There is plenty of parking. There are several friendly dogs on the property. The farm is about an hour from Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Harpers Ferry, WV and Gettysburg, PA. Frederick, MD is 20 mins.
