Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

Our farm home, situated on 4 acres, is located just 25 minutes from the University of Illinois and Illini sports! I-57, I-74, and I-72 are all close by. The house has a fully furnished large kitchen with a coffee bar. Two living areas provide plenty of space to stretch out. This 1 bedroom apartment has accomodations for 2 guests. There is a private, outside entrance and 1GB WiFi. It's a no frills space that we have recently updated with new kitchen appliances + an updated bathroom. We ask all of our guests who stay to be respectful of noise as it travels downstairs easily. The entire house can be rented as a full 3 bedroom home with accomodations for 7 guests.
