Caitlin’s home is beautiful and the view is breathtaking! The pictures are very accurate but it’s way prettier in person. A must see! The area is so peaceful and the locals are very friendly. Just overall one of the best places we have ever stayed. We will 100% stay again. ❤️

This was our second time staying at Deanna’s and it was just as good as the first! Deanna is very easy to communicate with and her instructions are very clear!

Comfortably slept 9 adults. Lots of stairs but to be expected in the mountains. Loved the view from the hot tub!

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful lake home over the weekend and it was nothing short of amazing! The house itself is stunning with breathtaking views and thoughtful decor that leave a cozy yet elegant atmosphere. The host truly goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible. Every detail was taken care of. From the welcoming touches to the prompt communication, we felt right at home. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque escape. Probably the best experience with an airbnb I’ve ever had! Absolutely loved the house. It was perfect for our bigger group. The outdoor spaces were fantastic and so was the kitchen and living room. I would be happy if it was my house! Would love to come back!! Took a drive to rock island and hiked to some waterfalls which was a great addition to the already perfect weekend.

We were amazed on the details and essentials the house had. Equipped with everything you needed . Cleaned , well decorated and comfortable. Beautiful view ! Loved the new spa area . Kayaks were great and the shed was very well organized with all you needed to enjoy the lake area . Everything you need is within 30 minutes drive. We had a wonderful spring break! Definitely recommend it . Thank you!

This home was exactly what we needed for our large family visiting the area for a wedding. The house felt so “homey” as soon as you walked inside and the home was furnished with all kinds of extra linens, towels and kitchen supplies! Sallie was super responsive as we planned for the trip and made sure we had exact directions into the area.

This is a nice spot — peaceful and pleasant. The house is very nicely appointed. Everything is new or nearly new. The furnishings are simple but comfortable. It’s within easy driving distance to Cookeville. Sadie was super responsive and friendly and flexible. Would recommend!

This is a quaint, clean home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could've stay longer. The home is nothing fancy but is nicely decorated and you feel right at home. It was very convenient for our event at Leeric Lodge, getting to Baxter and Cookeville and local hiking. We did not cook in the kitchen, but it seemed to have the essentials needed. Beds were comfortable and linens and towels are nice. It is in a wooded location, so guests need to be aware of uneven ground and tree stumps which could be a mobility issue for some guests. It's quiet and plenty of wildlife around. Breanna gave good communication and got back with us immediately when we had questions. Wifi and TVs worked fine even in the stormy weather. It does have a small water heater so if more than two guests shower after each other you may run out of hot water. For us, that was not a problem. Overall, we certainly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate staying there again.

This place was just as described. A peaceful haven tucked in the woods. The instructions given to us for the road to the house was spot on please heed that warning. The road is a one car road and would be advised to have 4WD or mid size car. But it is so worth it. Just amazing!

We could not have asked for more! The owners are wonderful and we stopped by their country store for lunch on Saturday. The sandwiches and homemade desserts are out of this world. The lodging was spotless and had everything we needed to relax and unwind. The hot tub was wonderful and although it rained 90% of our time there we enjoyed spending time under the back covered porch. Big thanks again and we look forward to spending time at yalls place again down the road.

This cabin in the woods is homey and cozy. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was stocked with appropriate gadgets, utensils. pots and pans. The place was clean and comfortable for our adult party of 5. Would I rent it again? Yes, we would. Michelle's notebook was comprehensive and she was responsive to questions. The dishwasher is small and a countertop model. Not a problem because we just used coffee mugs and silverware. Everything else we planned was disposable. This leads to garbage. Our stay was 8 days so we did have to take a few bags of garbage to the county dumpsters. No washer and dryer onsite and Michelle did mention that. Because our stay was so long, we had to visit the laundromat. I recommend the one in McMinnville not the the one in Smithville. We had a great time and were fortunate to find this property that was pet friendly. Our dog Max totally enjoyed the walks in the woods and the state park. The front porch was awesome.

The property and the decorations were beautiful. The property was also very clean and the amenities were ample for our stay. The detached garage was amazing and the space for games was great. It was like a detached living room too. The space with the hot tub was quaint. My family enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the property. As one of my family members said “It was a little house with a huge heart”. Aaron and Marie even left us Ralph’s donuts with a great note, to celebrate our son’s graduation. They made our experience very easy and we are looking forward to booking it again for our next graduation experience.

I can’t say enough about this beautiful place! An absolutely breathtaking property w/ a gorgeous and completely peaceful river right in the backyard! Such a cozy home w/ every single amenity you could ask for, our family wouldn’t change a thing about this stay! The house is stocked with everything you need and more… from the kitchen to the bathroom, to the kids room full of toys, nothing was missed when this home was stocked. Coffee, creamer, bug spray, every toiletry you could think of, extra towels, sheets and pillows. The space was cozy and the couch was sooo comfy. Started the day with coffee on the deck listening to birds. The water level was a little low in the river so we brought the kayak, coolers and water shoes (all provided) over the bridge and spent each day on the river bank. Took a jacuzzi bath and finished the day with hot chocolate on the deck watching the fireflies. Sat in the garage and watched the lighting storms during the evening and woke up to fresh air. Just wow

Just what we needed to relax and recharge. So peaceful and perfect! We will be back!

Our stay was great. Even though it was one nite . The house was clean. And very cute. Felt like we were at a farmhouse. We wished we could’ve used the fire pit. But we had rain.

The views stunning, enjoyed the sunsets. Weather was perfect to enjoy the patio and a little bird watching( abundance of woodpeckers and spotted a couple of eagles). The house had everything we needed. The kitchen well equipped as we cooked nightly. We also enjoyed the town of Smithville which has nice boutiques, antiques and coffe shop. Nice tranquil property.

Staying at Darcy and Mel's farmhouse was like staying with friends. Upon walking in, everything is exactly like the pictures and more. The decor is straight out of a magazine, and the whole house was sparkling clean! Anything we needed or wanted was provided and easy to find. Darcy is extremely responsive and the perfect host! The town of Sparta is very quaint, but the food at Marioochi's and The Coffee Collective is second to none. The location is perfect for those wanting to be close to stores but still off the beaten path. It is always quiet to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. After a day of hiking and chasing waterfalls, there is plenty of privacy to soak in the hot tub or sit around the fire pit under the stars. Let's talk cows...who knew cows could be so entertaining?!? Every day was like watching a new episode of a reality tv show, lol! We stayed for two weeks and had the best time...it truly was a wonderful experience!

I personally enjoyed it ever everyone else that was with me did too. It was a very beautiful house. I love that it was music themed, and it was like old timey. I will definitely be coming back because of how beautiful and just how peaceful the house in the area is.

We loved our stay here! It accommodated our family of 14 well. The scenery is beautiful! We would love to return in the summer!

Perfect place to stay and explore nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. Everything was exactly as pictured and there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied! We had a great weekend at the Evergreen Lodge!
