FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

At Vista Hinchinbrook breakfast is included. Come stay in our Cassowary cabin nestled in a rainforest setting. When you are feeling a bit peckish, enjoy a BBQ on your own private deck and once the sun has gone down sit back and take in the stars. After a restful sleep join us on the verandah for breath taking views of Hinchinbrook Island, while enjoying your breakfast and a 'Brew with a View'....Be careful whilst driving up our long driveway, as cassowaries and other wildlife cross regularly.

Casa Palma

Stylish tropical detached villa opposite the palm fringed beach and a short stroll to the laid back village of Mission Beach with a great choice of restaurants bars and galleries. Ideal for singles or couples with a queen bedroom and a daybed in living room. A cot and high chair are available. Soak up the sun on the deck lounges. Relax in the exclusive use of the cabana and cool off in the plunge pool. Continental breakfast provisions are complimentary. Casa Palma is for house guests only.

Dragonheart B&B - Bamboo Cottage

Free-standing cottage in the midst of the rainforest. Come and share our piece of paradise, surrounded by the world heritage-listed Queensland Wet Tropics and Djiru National Park. Set in 2.6 hectares of private rainforest, Dragonheart is home to amazing flora and fauna, including two cassowaries who visit us regularly. Enjoy breakfast on our deck, overlooking the creek and the forest, while our olive-backed sunbirds put on a display, or listen to the calls of the woompoo fruit dove.

Enjoy the solitude of this totally private self-contained apartment suited for singles and couples. A 5-minute rainforest walk to the centre of the village and 200 metres from the local golf course. The apartment is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has everything you should need for a very comfortable stay with dedicated under cover parking and access so you won't be getting wet if it is raining. Enjoy watching the butterflies and birds in the garden from the verandah. .
