Our stay was very relaxing and tranquil. The scenery of the lake and the cleanliness of the house were amazing. Definitely would go back again.

Had a fantastic family vacation at Diamond Lake. The cottage was perfect - cozy, clean, and VERY well stocked. Check in before you go to the grocery store because you won’t need anything other than food and drinks - all other supplies are provided. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of board games for rainy days. And the front porch and yard allowed for some family fun in the evenings after being on the beach on sunny days. Thank you for hosting - - we will be back next summer!

If you're looking for a quaint, cozy place to stay, especially for a couples getaway, I would highly recommend the Blue Bird Cottage. We truly enjoyed our stay. The amenities listed were spot-on (especially the Hot Tub on those cool spring evenings). The place was clean, the towels were plentiful, & the local attractions were in walking-distance. Now, tbh, if you're over 6ft like I am, you're going to have to watch your head in some areas in the basement (however, there is a sign stating just that as you go down the stairs). The gaming area in the basement is height-accommodating, fyi. Overall, the place is exceptional, & Kate's communication is top-tier. We didn't have any issues, & we're already planning our next quick getaway. Looking forward to booking The Blue Bird again soon.

The house was as described and pictured. We had a wonderful weekend. Enjoyed the hot tub both nights. Towels for the hot tub were provided. The house had everything we needed. Close to several great beaches and hiking areas! Comfortable beds and furniture. Very clean.

My stay with kate was perfect. The space was clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. The hot tub and yard were great additions to our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, making for a very relaxing stay. I recommend this spot for all, perfect for a girls trip or a family getaway. Plus, the hosts were incredibly accommodating!!

My fiancé and I visited Donna’s place over a summer weekend, and we had the most amazing time. Donna’s house is so beautiful and welcoming - we felt at home. Her place was clean and is filled with the most thoughtful decor. It has everything anyone needs for a peaceful, relaxing stay. She was responsive right from the day of booking to our final day and even stopped by to meet us in person. We look forward to staying at her house again soon!

If you’re considering booking this listing, do not hesitate! My family of 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 pets had a fantastic stay at this location. It is even more beautiful than the pictures! We would gladly return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake more, but we still loved taking in the view and watching the wildlife. Thank you to the hosts for a fabulous stay!

Perfect location on the lake with a short drive to several restaurants. The lake side had a cute setup and easy access to the lake. This is where we spent most of our time, but we loved that it had a fenced in yard in the back for our dog to enjoy. The description is very accurate and the place was very clean. We would stay here again.

Seven of us (3 adults and 4 teens- ages 12-18) enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend! Melissa stocked the house with games (indoor and outdoor!), linens, everything you’d need in a kitchen, and even firewood for the fire pit! We were delighted to find 4 kayaks with every size life vest we could possibly need in the garage. And the kids LOVED having a bunkhouse to themselves. We spent the weekend fishing, playing games, cooking, and enjoying a private channel off the lake. It was ideal! Melissa responded incredibly quickly and was kind and thoughtful from start to finish.

Perfect home for a long weekend that included a Notre Dame football game. The home had plenty of space for two couples and the kitchen is beautifully updated. The house is exactly like the photos and even better in person. Lovely large yard, plenty of seating out by the lake, kayaks for use, a firepit; a great vacation home. Bonus on an ND football weekend: much less traffic coming from north of campus, easy drive getting in and out of campus.

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

We had a great trip!! The dogs and kids loved the backyard, the kitchen was bright and well supplied. The family room and eating areas were nice and roomy. It was a very welcoming house and we enjoyed it very much!! Thank you!

Everything was perfect. Spent a relaxing weekend with my husband here. Went to the wounded minnow and the most amazing bacon ranch pizza. Spent the day on the paddleboats enjoying the sun. Ended our last night back at the minnow for a steak dinner and watched the sun set on the deck. Cute cottage, beautiful view. Sarah was so nice and always responsive. She even offered to allow us to check in early and check out later, great host with the most. Highly recommend checking her spot out!
