Cascade Range: eco lodge

I fell in love with this place the last time I stayed here. Being able to wake up looking at the beautiful lake is the best part. The location is great as it’s not in the busy part of town which is part of the peacefulness I enjoy the most about this place. The host has clear instructions and the place is always cleaned well. Cozy, comfy and probably my favorite spot. Will be returning again!

Very warm and cozy room. Felt really comfortable staying here. Location was perfect and convenient right along Avenue of the Giants in the Redwoods. Wonderful host !

Cute cabin right on the water. It’s cozy with bed, bathroom and small kitchen area. Incredible water view. Great location near recreation areas and trails, and world class oysters!

Gorgeous view. Efficiency as expected, with comfortable accommodations. The sauna was a nice touch. It was listed as a “hotel room” in AirBnB categories but was more a studio in a building of 4 units. Very AARP. Went in winter on a Sunday, so very quiet. I think the only thing that I can’t get over was the price. That’s on me, as I didn’t look carefully prior to clicking the booking, and I thought the price tag was for two nights. For one it felt steep, considering it was the off season and a Sunday, and had no boating or tours available. No complaints about the space and a great location. Thanks.

My family and I stayed there for the night and it was a great spot. Located right on the Avenue of the Giants in beautiful surroundings. Our hosts were there outside waiting for us when we arrived. Very convenient.

As everyone else says, the view is amazing. The whole property in general is a great space. Suite 3 isn’t as private. It is overlooking the parking lot and potentially people could see in but the lodge is small so not many people around in the winter.

Staying at Morningstone was like having our own little retreat centre for a few days. The location is close to the ferry and overlooks beautiful Village Bay. The suite was clean with comfortable seating, a cozy bed and a spectacular view. Sitting on the deck with my morning coffee overlooking the water was the best way to start the day. Dorothy's gift of hospitality was evident from the homeade bread and jams to the touching base with us when we arrived. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We will definitely be going back!

Wonderful weekend stay while fishing on the North Umpqua River. Located in the heart of the renowned North Umpqua River. A Trading Post is across the road with a great deli, lots of convenience store items, and outdoor supplies. John was incredibly helpful throughout and even invited me to watch the Superbowl with him next to a large fireplace, television, and beautiful rustic decorations. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Mary and Josh's Eagle River B&B! We were lucky to meet Mary upon arrival so we got a personal tour of the house and property. It was exactly as advertised and then some! Because there were no other guests at the time, we had full access to the house. The beautiful kitchen was very well equipped. The amazing Mason fireplace kept the house warm and cozy and Mary made sure to check in on it while we were skiing. Much appreciated. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days at the mountain. Mary and Josh were available for any questions or concerns that we had. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us. We'd love to return one day!

We loved staying in the small lodge. There was plenty of space and it was wonderful to come back to after a long day of activities. Thank you very much for having us!

Amazing value for price paid. We were just traveling through and wanted a place with a hot tub for the evening. Unfortunately another accommodation did not work out so this was a VERY last minute book. This was such a great stay, and honestly we should have booked this first to begin with! The host was also super responsive and kind.

I had a lovely and comfortable stay at Lucky’s. The hosts were extremely hospitable and their place is in a beautiful location with a great view, as advertised. I would recommend anyone to stay at Lucky’s and I hope I have the opportunity to stay there again!

Alan was incredibly responsive and welcoming. The home was immaculate and exactly what our family was looking for. We would definitely visit this home again.

While this inn is directly on a busy highway, the expirience more than makes up for the awkwardness of that part of the location. The views are jaw dropping, the beds cozy, the room quiet, some rooms with soaker tubs with a view, a restaurant and coffee bar (yes, they have decent espresso!), and the staff is well trained. Overall, we had a great expirience and will be back.

Such a beautiful, unique property and space that Mike has created. From the stunning cabins, to the idyllic riverfront beach, to the perfect outdoor kitchen and amazing fire pit and lawn, this special place has all that you will need to celebrate with your friends and family. I will always remember the roaring bonfires and delicious meals shared here on my birthday with my best friends. We will return!

We just stayed the night but did have a short visit with Johanna and John. We enjoyed the stay.

The view from our room and the hotub is unbeatable

A beautiful Inn and wonderful place to stay with a group! Everyone had their own private space and room 6 was excellent for gathering. As a note, the entrance for room 6 is fairly separate from the rest of the rooms - excellent if some want to gather there but others are going to bed - something to consider if you’re planning to put little in the bunks. Great kitchen amenities, beautiful courtyard, easy access to the beach and state parks. Would absolutely return!
