Property is surrounded by nature with Bright Angel Park right outside the back gate. Take your morning coffee, stroll along the trails and be at the river within minutes. A barn on the property is home to numerous chickens, giant bunnies, and two inquisitive emus. Enjoy a memorable vacation in this beautiful setting!

Swell Shack Off-Grid Tiny Cabin w/ Sauna For Rent

This rustic off-grid micro cabin is 106 sq. ft. but feels much bigger, nicely nestled away in the mossy forest. Sleeps two in a queen bed in the loft. Minutes from surfing and hiking trails, you’re in the right place for epic adventures. We built our cabin using mainly reclaimed materials. We wanted to build a place that had minimal impact on the environment. It has on demand hot water, rainwater catchment, and solar powered electricity. We also have a beautiful sauna available to rent.

The room has a double bed with a pull out couch and extra bedding if needed. Brought a bottle of wine? Pop it in the mini fridge! The coffee maker is ready for your peaceful morning. Private entrance with a small area to sit out front. Want to have a fire? No problem. Fire pit is ready to go.

The location is perfect for those who want to have a place to relax after exploring the local vineyards, farmers’ markets, parks, beaches and walking trails. The cottage’s style mimics that of the main house, which is about 60 feet away from the cottage. We respect your privacy, and will leave you to yourselves. We love meeting new people and are LGBTQ+ friendly!
