Nestled on the banks of the NE Cape Fear River, this is the perfect place for a getaway. Just under a mile from Old River Farms wedding venue, 20 minutes from downtown Wilmington, and just a little more to Wrightsville Beach. The house sleeps 10 adults or up to 12 with kids. Enjoy the dock, shoot some pool and play some foosball. This place has everything.

Our barndo is located on our quaint 10 acre farm. The barn sits in the center of two pastures overseeing highland cows, horses, alpaca, donkeys, sheep and ducks. The suite offers eight acres of woods with trail, a courtyard with grill and pizza oven, fire pit, an area for sun bathing and for lawn games and an incredible "wildscaping". It provides all you need for your wellbeing like forest bathing, earthing, quiet retreats, nature connection, peaceful time and lots of books to read. The suite is next to the main house, with private bathroom and its own entrance, front yard and pond. It is completely isolated from noise and view from others.

When staying at the Carriage House, the beach and Wilmingtons' attractions are yours for the taking. The Carriage House is located in the Princess Place Neighborhood, next to Burnt Mill Creek -a bird watchers paradise. It is 1.5 miles to Downtown Wilmington and the Riverwalk and 7 miles to the Beach. I have crafted the Carriage House from reclaimed materials. Enjoy the guest hot tub and fire table. Snowbirds and travel nomads know that Wilmington is wonderful year round!
