We had a wonderful stay at Akwa house. There are plenty of spaces for the kids to relax and have fun while the adults could sit in the lounge overlooking the beautiful views. We loved the quiet location and family-friendly feel of the street. The kitchen was well stocked and we slept very comfortably in all the rooms. I would definitely recommend Akwa house to anyone looking for a great home right close to the beach.

Lovely home in our favourite seaside family escape. Enjoyed the pool, snooker table and table tennis. Great added value attributes not often found in the fishing village. Comfortable house and all you need in the kitchen, including two fridge/freezers, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Helpful and responsive hosts. Pet friendly too!

We loved our stay at Lydia's place in Hermanus. Beautiful mountain views, garden and birds, and direct access to mountain walks whilst reasonably close to Voelklip beach. It had all the amenities that our family needed and a lovely authentic and rustic feel.

We had a wonderful stay at Wessel’s place! The house was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and perfectly located near the beautiful Voelklip beaches. Highly recommended!

What a great place to stay in. The dogs loved the garden and I loved that Allison prepared for the dogs (raised beds and towels for them). The outside seating area was also lovely and I wished the weather was better for us to make better use of the outside area. Will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was not only equiped with everything that we needed, but had so much more. Adet was extremely helpful and responded to all our messages. I will definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in Stanford.

What a lovely, tranquil, and peaceful stay! The home was spotless and truly one of the best and most well-equipped places we’ve ever stayed in. From the spacious and comfortable bedrooms to the pristine bathrooms and the thoughtful amenities throughout, everything was designed to make our stay incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Even though the weather wasn’t the best- the home was so cosy to spend in doors as well, but definitely booking it during summertime to get to experience it then as well. Overall, a fantastic experience—10/10, would definitely recommend, with a lovely host/cohost to make it a great experience.

Elsja made sure we were warmly welcomed - Christmas decorations, gifts for our dogs and some fabulous treats for us! This is our 2nd holiday at the house and love the large rooms with plenty of light and fresh air - easy walks to the beach and the mountain. We will be back! Thank you.

What a great stay! The place was incredibly neat, comfortable, and had such a homely feel — exactly what we needed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and it felt like a true home away from home. Epic stay at a beautiful place. Good comms with India in the run up and Anton helpful during our stay. He also cooked us a beautiful roast lamb dinner which we highly recommend. 5 stars all round. The house is perfectly situated, yes it is a bit tired in places but it only adds to the charm. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms in good condition and the garden an absolute gem. This was our second visit to Gledsmuir and the stay matched our best expectations - again! We had a full house of 15 young and old adults (!) but the house is so spacious there was a place for everyone, whether it was to enjoy ball play or swim outside, or to find a space inside to play board games or cards, do a jigsaw puzzle or crossword, or read. The staff were unobtrusive and helpful, and magically restored the place to its pristine level throughout the day and early each morning. In particular, not having to be overly worried about washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen was a great treat for all the busy adults in our group. We had a truly relaxing and fun stay, in beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The price is on the high side but you get what you pay for, and more.

We truly enjoyed our stay with Candace and Lea. The house was beautiful and spacious for our group of 10. The surroundings were beautiful as well. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants a relaxing getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay! Misha’s place is gorgeous - even nicer than the photos. Came for a weekend with some friends and it’s the perfect house for that - spacious entertainment area and pool. It’s an easy walk to the beach and to the mountain path. Bed was super comfy. Ciska was friendly and lovely. Highly recommended!

A beautiful peace of heaven nestled in the Swellendam mountains and only a short drive from the busy city life. We were wowed by the amazing views and could not get enough of them. This location is rustic but so beautiful. You have the choice of a cosy rustic cottage with everything you need for a weekend stay or camping next to a pool area with other campers. The location is pet friendly and our 3 small dogs loved the freedom of open spaces and enjoyed their daily walks. The host Henri was very friendly and checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the location for anyone who appreciates the outdoors.

Everything about this trip was amazing. The house is spacious, beautiful and modern. Great for multiple families. The valley is breathtakingly beautiful with a little stream for the kids to play in. Jannie was an incredible host from booking to checkout. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

What a memorable stay in Hermanus, made more so by Marinda. Location was ideal. Quiet yet close to everything. The cottage was in a beautiful setting as Marinda's garden is breathtaking. Odie and I felt completely at home in the cottage, including interaction with neighbors! Marinda is a kind soul, always looking out for me and Odie. Cannot wait to visit again during whale season!

Our cottage was beautifully appointed and exceeded our expectations. Janet was very accommodating with our arrival time and made our check in a breeze. We were close to necessary amenities and attractions and i would highly recommended their establishment.

LOVED our 3day stay, could have stayed a week. Beautiful surroundings, we loved sitting on the grass looking out on the dam. comfortable beds, had all aminities for a weekend away. our dogs loved swimming in the dam. perfect break away for the weekend. we also booked the cottage next door, a perfect group away setting.

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

The Willand Cottage is one of my favourite locations in Langezandt. There are lots of entertainment for the kids and the adults. The house is well stocked and the option to depart later in the day is always very welcome.
