We had an amazing stay at Terri’s place. Everything was spotless. We needed for nothing! We had a few questions about the outdoor lights when we got in late Friday and she responded quickly! The property was beautiful and well worth what we paid. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

In town for our son’s wedding and all our family stayed together in this beautiful home. Plenty of space for everyone to be together or find a quiet place to relax. The kitchen has everything we needed

We tremendously enjoyed our weekend getaway! We could not have asked for anything more! Karyl & Matthew provided great suggestions when I inquired about local spots (one of the recommendations ended up being the highlight of our trip!) Easy check-in. Super clean. But most importantly, the location is everything!!! Super private, yet 5 minutes away from some cool history & restaurants! Would definitely book again if I had the opportunity!

Great house and friendly helpful hostess! We love staying with Marsha and Willie ( her little dog)! Very comfortable and private room with private bathroom. Beautiful area and large yard with a pond

Amy’s place was a true hidden gem, beautiful property, 60 acres of country living and privacy to roam, yet all the comforts of home in the house itself. Kitchen was super clean with modern appliances, with everything you might need to make meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and exactly what we needed, the kids especially loved having their own rooms, and their own separate section of the house! Our dog enjoyed every minute of off-leash time, exploring the woods, trails, and favorite place by far, the creek! Amy was very responsive and messaged with us back and forth before, during and after our stay. Town is not too far away with restaurants and activities, and Amy was quick to offer suggestions. All in all a great, memory-making trip, and we hope to come back to visit again soon!

This was a beautiful lakeside home in a nice neighborhood. The owner was very responsive and hospitable. The house was clean and spacious, and felt like home. I would highly recommend this airbnb to anybody needing to find a place to stay bear Lynchburg.

Staying with Mr Jane was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the apartment was cozy and spotless. The place was well-equipped and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. This is a peaceful downstairs apartment with private entry and beautiful backyard with swimming pool. Mrs Jane was always available to answer our questions. unforgettable experience! Highly recommended!" 

Had a nice stay at Timberlake Tavern for our daughter’s birthday and would stay again in the future. Very nice accommodations, easy to access and great setup for a family. Had lots of nice touches in the room for comfort of guests. The Tavern is a gem and I can tell the owners have taken great care to make it an inviting place. I grew up close by and was intrigued by this location since the area is my hometown. Only suggestions would be checkout instructions (that could be due to our family not reserving rooms like this often;) and a way to block noise from event space a little since there was a deejay for an event right below.

I loved staying here. The lake is beautiful, the loft feels cozy and welcoming and Denise stayed up late and welcomed us even though we got there late. Really felt like I was with family. The area around is cute. The only thing that would have made it better is maybe a bowl of snacks for people coming from far far away but I think next time I’m in town I’ll be coming back :)

Would highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing weekend. This was a repeat stay, and everything was just as nice as the last time. Quick communication with Gwendolyn was appreciated, and everything we needed was available or offered.
