We had a wonderful winter cottage stay. The place is very cozy, well equipped with everything you would ever need. Incredible clean and organized. Comfortable beds and a great property. The hosts are very kind and responsive. 100% would recommend!

Bill's place is absolutely amazing! We get access to a good hiking trail, the lake that we have plenty activities to do! The description is accurate; Bill and Lisa are super responsive to our messages. Overall it is such an amazing experience and highly recommend Bill's place! :)

We booked this place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life to relax and enjoy the calm. This place truly delivered! It was beautiful, cozy and the hot tub sure relaxed us! I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

A beautiful, well curated space with thoughtful details, and everything you need to have a great time! Joanne was friendly, super responsive and accommodating! Her cottage provided the perfect overnight getaway for me and a couple of my best friends! We enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit, beautiful deck with a gazebo, and spacious interior! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer! The drive in is a dirt road, so take your time (enjoy because it's a beautiful ride!) and be mindful of the bumps. Don't think twice about staying in the gorgeous space!

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Ian is a great host very friendly and professional. Amenities are well kept from the swimming pool to the fish cleaning hut, you can buy even premium gas for your boat and enjoy a Saturday evening karaoke. Definitely we will come back again.

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

My family and I had a nice cozy experience staying on Ian's yacht. We relished the lake views, the dock, the stars, and the sunset, as well as the opportunity to cast our fishing line directly off the bow.

My 5-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip and we booked this very last minute. it was definitely the highlight of the trip and wish we would have stayed a couple of extra days. the water was beautiful in the evening with the sunset.

Ian's place is as described. His boat is clean, and the resort is well organized. He is one of the few hosts that is actually on-site, to help with anything needed; he is also very accommodating and easy-going. I didn't think there was actually going to be a karaoke night, as it had been described in the other reviews, but there was one. The whole area is conducive to a relaxed state of mind. my son and I enjoyed staying here and will very likely come back for some good fishing. Yes, we caught fish too, which was a plus.

Carole's waterfront Bunkie was beautiful and exactly how described. They were very responsive and helped us with anything we needed. We would definitely return again!

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was incredible. The first thing you notice is the incredible decor, the lovely welcome. The cabin is really well stocked with all the things you'd need. I highly recommend it. Splurge on the hot tub. It's totally worth it. Really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place

Went with my wife and I and five kids. We had a perfect week of weather in September and after the first day on the beach, my kids were saying this was our best cottage ever! Looking out at our children on the beach from the big windows on the cottage, the place took on an almost magical quality. We had to drag our kids from the water every day. Lots of toys, games, life jackets, boats outside and fully stocked in the cottage. And the setting with all the islands out front is a classic Muskoka look, without all the business of that area. My friends and I had the best stay at Klaudia’s cottage. It was my friends’ first experience in Ontario outside of Toronto and it was a picture perfect trip. Klaudia was extremely helpful in her communications and when we had car trouble she called her neighbour to offer to help out. He was super friendly too. Aside from that and running into him on the walking trails we didn’t hear or see anyone else the whole weekend. The cottage is perfect for visiting. Spacious, homey and connected. Would highly recommend. And would love to come back.

This cottage in Sundridge has a fantastic location at the northern tip of Lake Bernard. Views of the lake from the living room are stunning plus you will get beautiful sunsets and a great beach. The cottage has everything you need from a cozy and original cottage charm living room, toys for the water from a canoe, a pedal boat and even kayaks. Lauren is a fantastic host, super responsive and will help you out with local recommendations. The bedding in all three bedrooms is great as well as the floor heating in the newer part of the cottage which worked great for the cooler fall days. The kitchen is well equipped. Overall just a great cottage experience. We would love to come back to this place.
