We had one night at Penny's and it was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

We had a lovely time at Philip’s cottage. It is beautifully furnished and has everything you need. It was super clean and smelt very nice. The only thing I could not find, was a hook to hang my coat on. The snacks and wine was a lovely surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We appreciated all the tips about the area and really made an effort to explore the surroundings. A weekend at Pecan Tree cottage is not enough. Next time we will come for a week.

Magriet’s place is the perfect Airbnb – super clean, a very comfortable mattress, a well equipped kitchen, looks exactly like the pictures, and it’s private and safe. There is so much attention to detail; I doubt you’ll miss a single thing to have a very comfortable stay – Magriet has thought of it all! It was lovely to have braai area (and all the equipment you need, including wood). Magriet is a wonderful host and it’s clear she cares about her guests. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we won’t stay anywhere else!

A beautiful, secluded spot in a valley. We were not able to enjoy the outdoors as much because of the weather, but felt very comfortable indoors with a roaring fire. Hildegard was kind enough to drop off more fire wood and fire lighters. She also kindly purchased a new braai grid for us due to our halal dietary requirements. She was a wonderful and responsive host.

This is a working farm. You will experience, sounds and movements of a Karoo farm. The cottage is big enough for two adults with two children. Everything you need. The surroundings and sunsets are beautiful. We loved the walking, running and bicycle trails everywhere in the area. The host is very friendly and always willing to help. Expect an urban feel, with gravel roads, but no 4x4 needed. The boutique brandy distillery on the farm, is not to be missed. (A nice experience with the host and her helpfull husband.) 15km from Montague, not to far for everything that you need or a nice meal in town.

Teris cottage was a great place for a stop over in Barrydale. It would be super to stay longer if there was time. I highly recommend the cottage!

What an amazing stay - the house had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The house is central and in a magnificent setting overlooking the Kranz nature reserve. MgGregor is also a really good base to explore the general winelands. We are already planning our next trip back

Wat een mooie accommodatie! Even weg van de drukte, met alles wat je nodig hebt en nog extra luxe in de tent. Een perfecte plek om even tot rust te komen. De tent is stijlvol ingericht en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Marinke is super vriendelijk en communiceert heel duidelijk en snel. We vonden dit een hele bijzondere plek en we zullen het iedereen aanraden.
