Great place to stay while exploring Cape Breton!

Enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The place was comfortable, very clean, well stocked with everything from big comfy bath towels to kitchen utensils. It accommodated 6 people very well. The interior has many unique touches with raw edged wood and metal. The location is great and the view is wonderful. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I highly recommend this air bnb.

Excellent value for the money and very convenient, nicely equipped, excellent parking. Host was very helpful with our extremely late arrival. We did have to donate a bath mat (seniors are very concerned with tub safety) and there was an issue with someone in the area smoking, the smell was coming into the bathroom. New Waterford is a beautiful area with very friendly people. You can see the ocean from the deck and it is a short walk to the trail along the ocean. We look forward to coming again.

A great, small but homey place to stay while visiting the region!

Despite the house being so old it was clean and nice. It was decorated in chicken/bee theme, and included plenty of fun activities and amenities (hot tub, fire pit, indoor/outdoor games, BBQ, etc.). Ashley was very friendly and super easy to communicate with. Even the fresh farm eggs in the fridge felt like a nice bonus. If you are looking for a peaceful time outside of the city - it is definitely a great choice! Thank you Ashley!

We have been coming to Baddeck for many years, and this time we were fortunate to find Kristine’s place. Everything about the place was perfect—the stunning view, the immaculate house, and most of all Kristine’s wonderful family. They felt like my own by the end of our stay, and we will most definitely be coming back. Kristine thought of every little detail to make us feel at home, from the zillion channel TV to the coffee ready to be perked.

Karen’s Airbnb is very nice, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Karen is a responsive and personable host who quickly solved a problem with a malfunctioning appliance and made us feel more than comfortable to contact her if anything should arise. Would highly recommend this property, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect location and excellent accommodations! David was fantastic - easy and clear communication and quick to respond! The place was immaculately clean and equipped with everything you could possibly want or need! My husband and daughter were in town for sports and they were so impressed with the space that they had to FaceTime me to give me a tour! They loved how everything was labelled for easy locating - and the coffee/tea, creamer/milk and freshly baked apple cinnamon loaf was such a special touch! Oh - and the option to code the keyless entry to our own selected code was GENIUS!! We've stayed at SO MANY Airbnb's and this was a first! Very thoughtful touch to make the stay just that much more convenient! Don't hesitate - just book!

This was our second stay and it was perfect. Such a cozy space, very clean, and lots of extra touches to make you feel right at home. It’s a great central location to do visiting or sightseeing from.

We loved Karen’s place, it was clean, convenient and cozy, it was in the perfect location close to the university and within walking distance of restaurants, walking paths and shopping! It was the perfect spot and we will definitely come back and stay in this amazing gem!

We booked Kathryn’s as a night out. Unfortunately my husband ended up on call all weekend and I ended up having to go into work myself for a few hours. Kathryn was accommodating to allow us to park his work vehicle in the driveway, and we were able to get in and out easily. The apartment was cozy, and comfortable. It was a great stay for us aside from both of us having to work, and it had everything we needed.

Just a few minutes from the Canso Causeway off the Trans Canada Highway. Clean, comfortable, quiet, private, spacious, extremely well-equipped, with good heating and cooling systems. Helpful house manual with restaurant menus. Wonderful large shower. New washer and dryer much appreciated after a week on the road. Highly recommended.

Fred was very responsive and helpful. The place was exactly as described, with a nice balcony with a view of the water. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated that it was stocked with coffee and tea, and that there was laundry detergent available. The whole apartment was in pristine shape, and Ingonish Beach is a great place to base yourself when visiting Cape Breton Highlands National Park.

The place is true to how it is described in the listing. Very clean and quiet for being downtown, you can hear traffic throughout the day but it didn’t bother me and it quieted down at night. Overall a very nice stay.

Place was very modern and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Great view of the coast. Rick was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our 3 day stay. I give this place top marks.

Catherine’s place is in a spectacular setting with stunning views out to sea. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Catherine. Do not miss sitting in the sunroom looking out to sea and chilling. The apartment is spotless clean. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom a lovely size. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is a great place to do it. We wish we could have spent more time there We ate at the Red Shoe pub about a 15 minute drive away. Food was decent and live music on the Friday was very enjoyable. You do need a car to stay here but if you’re travelling around Cape Breton, you will already know that Catherine & Francis took the time to give us some great recommendations and places to stop around the Cabot Trail. Catherine also baked us some extremely good cake that was fantastic with our morning coffee. I’d highly recommended staying here

This place is beautiful! We really enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend Port Hood Place! Richard was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Port Hood. Wish we had more time there to explore Cape Breton. Very easy to gaze out at the water and lose track of time.
