Everything you’d expect from a West Texas ranch house! Very quiet with only the occasional pickup driving past the house, which is bordered by a couple of cattle guards that provide a “speed bump” effect and requires vehicles to slow down as they pass the house. Nicely furnished and a great big back yard for throwing a ball and enjoying those beautiful Texas night skies. We took advantage of the fire pit for evening gatherings and picked up fallen wood from around the property to burn. Ping pong and corn hole were also a hit with the kids. River is across the county road and we threw a couple fishing lines in the river with no luck except for a small perch. TV gets all the channels you’ll need and the house has internet, which runs quite slow but I understand that the host is on the list to get Starlink as soon as it’s available, which will be nice if needed to work from the house. Kitchen’s nicely appointed and the stocked spices, pots, pans and tools fulfilled our needs.

As always great place to stay in Mason. Easy to get to. Great parking. Easy in and out

This was a beautiful property with the most beautiful views. My husband, my 2 kiddos and I enjoyed it so much and hope to come back!!

The house was Great! Had the river in the back yard, beautiful big trees, perfect scenic little get away, with a vineyard next door if that's what you're looking for. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area

Cheryl’s little barn home was lovely. Located just a few miles outside of Mason’s, check-in and check-out were easy. The house was nicely furnished and spaces were as advertised. Cheryl was easy to reach when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was very clean and comfortable and a fun atmosphere . Walking distance to the square.

The house was centrally located in Menard and close to where we were having a family reunion. It had everything that we needed and felt like being in someone's home.

We always look forward to our yearly stay at the cabin every September!! This weekend was no exception and each visit is always better than the last ❤️Fabulous hosts, a wonderful place to stay, and the perfect place to sit back and relax from our extremely busy and chaotic city lives. We can't wait to come back again hopefully in the spring 😊
