The house was perfect for a large group of family to get together for a ski weekend, we had some of the group ski and some stayed back and the house was a perfect place to hangout with everyone.

We were originally drawn in by the hot tub and remote location, but the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The view and surroundings were stunning, and the rustic exterior of the cabin was charming. The screened porch with the hot tub and cozy seating was a highlight. Inside, the cabin was beautifully finished with detailed wood trim, modern bathrooms (yes, two!), comfy beds, and a well-stocked kitchen. The wood stove with plenty of firewood and heated floors added a luxurious touch. Extras like USB chargers, strong Wi-Fi, TVs in every room, and modern lighting made it even better. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

This place was so perfect! My husband and I were on vacation and celebrating our 4th year of marriage and this place was amazing! The hot tub with the tv were just the icing on the cake! This place felt private and extremely clean! Just like the pictures. I highly recommend this place! Will definitely be back if ever back in the area! I use reviews when booking my stay and trust me when I say this one is well worth it

Wonderful to hear the waves of Superior rolling in as we decompressed after a long day of work in the area. Very comfortable, and the sauna was great after a long day of fieldwork in the area.

Penny was amazing! The cabin was perfect with everything we needed. We arrived way later than what we intended on due to traffic and Penny was in constant communication with us during our trip. She even left the porch and kitchen lights on for us since we were arriving well after dark. Penny lives right next door, so if we ever needed anything, it was taken care of almost immediately. She would even let us know when she was going to be gone for a bit so we were aware. I enjoyed sitting on the back patio each morning with my coffee listening to the birds and other wildlife. So relaxing! My husband and son took the row boat out a few times and went fishing. We even did a bonfire our last night there and made smores. Couldn't have asked for a better or more relaxing stay. Charming and Cozy in an amazing location! I plan to return in the summer and enjoy the beach, fire pit, rockhounding, watching the freighters and exploring. The location is a great launching point for many day trips within an hour or two of the cabin. And the beach access really is steps away from the door! We played outside all day and then played Catan and Uno at night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare meals. There is an entertainment center set up with Roku and a dvd player with movies and some games. The beds were both very comfortable with quality linens and blankets and great pillows. The porch is darling, birdfeeders all around and lanterns and lights for night. Kelly was the perfect host, very quick to respond, knowledgeable of the area, and a pleasure to communicate with! I highly recommend this cabin for one or two people. Perfect for a cozy getaway, beach fun and day trips. You won’t be disappointed!!!

We had a perfect stay at this Airbnb. The location was great, the host was fantastic, and the place itself was wonderful. The AC was an added bonus, and the grounds were clean and well-kept. It's conveniently close to Black Lake and Hammond Bay/Lake Huron! We definitely will be back.

This was our second trip to Robin & Fred’s cabin, which we had been looking forward to all year! The trip in was lovely; the trail is well marked and the scenery is beautiful. The cabin was cozy for our frosty mornings (it’s such a luxury to have nice dry kindling and wood prepared for us!). We loved exploring around the lake and relaxing with the sauna and lake swims. Thank you for hosting us!

We had such a great time staying at Ken’s place! The only thing that would have made this trip better is if the skies were clear during the days we stayed so we could have fully enjoyed the amazing view of the sunset and stars that the property offers! Our dogs loved staying here as well and they had lots of room to run around and play freely. Our time here was so peaceful and such a nice getaway and we can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at the 3 little cottages! It has everything we needed and more. The lakeside area was perfect for our kids. We enjoyed the use of kayaks as well. The cottages were clean and comfortable and had all basic amenities covered. We enjoyed all the extra toys provided in the shed. Lori was so helpful and friendly. We were so sad to leave and can not wait to come back next year!

Had a great relaxing girls weekend. Would definitely come back in the future!

This is my second stay at Don's family camp, and I'll continue to book here when it's available. Don is one of the most responsive hosts I've know, and I've stayed in over 30 Airbnb's. If you're looking for something remote, but still have basic amenities plus a couple extra perks like a sauna and outdoor fire pit ... this is the place. If phone and internet service are critical, you might want to look south of the Mackinac Bridge. For my needs, I hope Don and his family continue to share their camp.

As listed and described, perfect long weekend for a girls get away within distance to many attractions and sights, but far enough away too from any tourist area and city noise and lights

I want to give this property zero stars... if only to discourage anyone else from booking, so that I can have it for myself. Ryan and Shana were great to communicate with and were very responsive to any concerns or inquiries. The hike into the property can be a bit of grind if it's not something you're used to... but it is absolutely worth it. This cabin truly is off-grid; don't expect to be watching any YouTube on your phone. You won't need to anyway, as the surroundings are absolutely spectacular. With no human activity for miles around, you can truly appreciate the sights and sounds of nature. The bees buzzing amongst the golden rod; the squirrels scurrying across the forest floor gathering food for the winter; the call of the loon that can be heard clear across the lake. The entire experience is ethereal, and is not to be missed. Do not hesitate. Book this cabin. Or don't, so that I can.

Elizabeth's place was perfect for our snowmobile group! Trails were right there and easy to get to. The view at the house was perfect, it was private and just beautiful all around. Check in and out was so easy and communication was great! Thank you for sharing your place with us, we had a blast!

Another great stay at the Crow's Nest! Cozy and peaceful accommodations, and a responsive, nearby (but not intrusive) host - who could ask for more? The location makes a great starting point for a lot of our favorite eastern UP destinations. The close proximity to the Dancing Crane Coffee House is a big plus! But it's also possible to simply walk over to hiking trails in the Hiawatha National Forest. We'll have to come back in the summer some time so we can swim!

Gretchen and Rod were the best hosts I have had through AirBnB. I hope to stay again in Paradise. The cabin was clean and perfect for a private getaway.

Exceeded expectations. Woodstove cooking was awesome. My kids made steak, chicken, brats, veggies, eggs, and bacon on it. We also dropped a piece of bacon and we learned the smoke detector works super well! Ha! We visited Whitefish Point, Tahquamenon Falls, Goatlocker Saloon, and Paradise markets. All were easily accessible from the cabin. If you want to have an outhouse experience also, this is the place for you! My kids loved seeing the mushrooms and watching their poop the entire weekend. Nothing quite teaches kids about the earth than understanding how the earth helps clean our waste! :) There were lots of conversations about what they saw in the outhouse. We had some outlets that didn't work (per our own electrical knowledge) and our host was responsive and considerate. I felt well taken care of. Christy is the type of host airbnb should be proud to have use their service. The 13-year-old wants me to reserve it in February for snowmobiling. That's how cool that space is.
