Spent five days at this charming Airbnb in Paramaribo, Suriname, and it was an absolute delight. The space was beautifully decorated, blending elegant design elements with modern comforts to create a stylish and inviting atmosphere. Despite its peaceful, serene ambiance—a welcome escape from the city’s hustle—the location was incredibly convenient. It was just a short stroll to local markets, and a short drive to delightful restaurants, and historical landmarks. Whether you're seeking a quiet retreat or an active exploration of Paramaribo, this Airbnb offers the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Suriname.

Bij aankomst (wat later was als verwacht) werden we onwijs warm ontvangen. Alles in het huisje werd uigelegd. Een warm bad waar we in terrecht kwamen. Wij zouden 4 nachten blijven, maar omdat het zo fijn was bleven we langer. De gastvrijheid van deze mensen is zó groot. Na een uitstapje weer hier "thuiskomen" was fijn. Het huisje heeft fijne lichtinval en de energie is er zó goed. Het ontbijt keer op keer lekker. Alles was brandschoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heel fijn om een wasje te mogen draaien na onze intensieve tour. De vers gemaakte wijn proeven, de tomaatjes, cacaovrucht uit eigen tuin. De leuke gesprekken samen. Wij kunnen eindeloos over onze ervaring op deze plek vertellen. Ronny en Anneriek, jullie zijn geweldig leuke en gastvrije mensen. Wij zouden zeker bij jullie terugkomen. Wat een fijn appartement! Het is van alle gemakken voorzien en je voelt je er meteen thuis. Echt een aanrader!

Mijn moeder en ik hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad bij Anna en haar man. Het is een ruim appartement met écht alles erop en eraan. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en ook tijdens ons verblijf hebben we fijn contact gehad met de eigenaren voor verschillende vragen. Ze zijn heel vriendelijk. Het appartement is netjes en goed schoon. De kamers zijn ruim met goede bedden en er is genoeg opbergruimte. Overal is airco en/of een ventilator aanwezig. Het is een rustige buurt en binnen 10 minuten lopen, ben je bij een grote supermarkt en verschillende restaurants. Wat ook heel fijn was, is dat er gemakkelijk taxi’s in de straat te bestellen zijn. Al met al: top!

The place is nice and roomy. There was everything there that I needed. I didn’t use the washer or dryer, but I did hang clothes out on the back deck. The back deck had a hammock. It was nice to relax.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The experience was memorable. Here are some that stood out for us: 1. The quality of customer service we received from the host was great 2. The living room, kitchen, and bed rooms were cosy and family oriented. We admired the modern amenities. 3. The complimentary snacks were a nice touch. 5. The location was conveniently close to supermarkets and restaurants. 6. Spacious porch I would recommend for families who are looking for a home away from home.

Amazing place, amazing hosts, amazing city...was a great experience staying at Cherish and Giovanni's place...they arranged airport pick up, lent me a bicycle during my 3 night stay and they were always there for anything I needed. The place is on one of the most beautiful streets in the city. Thanks so much again for everything!!!

Really enjoyed my stay at Charley’s place. I stayed in the small studio private condo which is perfect for one person maybe two. Loved the small patio hammock overlooking a small leafy well kept garden. Kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, a/c, WC with hot water. Two twin beds pushed together for one big bed. Charley is a very good nice and helpful host, he was gracious enough to give me flexible check in/out. If there’s anything I would be critical of it’s the WiFi - it works but isn’t strong. But in general, I recommend.
